Update: These calls started up again this morning when I turned the phone on. Decided to ring it and it is FIS. The voicemail messages I was getting were from First United Bank & Trust and gave a Contact ID Number (5 digits). Guy I spoke to called Perry said it was an ATM machine that had gone wonky (based on checking that ID) and was sending those calls out. My number appears on their list somehow even though I don't have an account with that bank. Anyway, he got in touch with some department that deals with ATMs and they took my number off the list. That was before 1pm and I've had no calls since. Hope this helps someone.

Try this, get the name and address for them, apparently it is some kind of check cashing store from some of the posts above. Then contact the main store - probably has a web site. And ask them to stop calling you. Back it up in writing sent via certified us mail. Let them know that if it doesn't cease, that you will file reports with the FTC & FCC and that you are not afraid to pursue any legal means to stop the calls that are costing you minutes and money.

I've now had over 50 calls from this number today. Please somebody tell me how to stop them!!! My ATT prepaid gophone doesn't provide a blocking service. I've just registered with the National Do Not Call Registry

This number has called over 50 times and keeps leaving messages.

This company constantly calls my cell phone and says they are FSI...and asked you to
dial an extension...gotta be a scam.  We never dial or carry it any further.

This number is actually the main number for a PBX owned by a financial services company named FIS, and any one of 1000 different phone numbers might actually be calling you when you see this number pop up on your caller ID - anything from someone making a personal phone call to an autodialer might be trying to reach you. multiple calls ina row are probably an autodialer trying to give a message about anything from an ATM being down, to an ACH job that did no arrive when expected, to an issue with an electronic bill or credit card. If you call the number back, the person answering the phone will likely have no idea what the call was about as the phone number now goes to a queue in a different part of the company - a building on a completely different PBX with a different exchange ID.

Call from this number was ChexSystems, whom I had spoken with the other day and requested to call me back. Voicemail was left by a real person.

Phone number is for FIS Global. The phone number is for a third party vendor for people who "Cash" their checks at local check cashing stores instead of their bank. The number constantly calls me and it appears that they authorized a cashing of one of my payroll checks only to discover they had an "issue" and want their money back.

They called again few minutes ago. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

They called me and are still trying to reach me as we speak. The first time they called, someone actually said my name like they were trying to verify it was me. What the hell is this?

I got this call on my cell phone 5:50 pm EST, July 3, 2010. I did not answer, as the number is unknown to me. No message.

If DSB's info is accurate (thanks for posting that, by the way), it seems that it might be an employment agency. This is based entirely on a few casual Google searches, and may not be accurate at all.

Calls 8+ times a day and leaves a recorded message on the answering machine to hit the # key to speak to a representative. The message repeats over and over and over again.  If I'm there when the phone rings and I see this number on the caller I.D., I pick up the receiver and hang up immediately.  What a pain!

Called twice today (10:16 am & 4:13) Did not answer as I did not recognized phone number or area code as a canadian phone number. Caller left no message. Reverse look-up on www.411.com revealed:
