I just got a call from (333) 333-5013 and a mumbled voice mail with the number (877) 823-7377. I've dealt with both TCF and their VISA protection services in teh last few weeks and neither of them have knowledge of thet number. Avoid 877-823-7377!

1-877-823-7377 is TCF Bank.

They called to my cell phone.

I just received a call too but they hung up before I could answer.  I google'd the number and found this site.  Thank you for the information - I will be sure not to respond.

This same thing just happened to me, and now they tried again. i get the 414-351-8567 or 414-351-8533 number calling me and leaving a msg saying it's some mumbly name from tcf and i need to call 877-823-7377. Because it was later in the evening on a weekend i knew something was up. i went online to check my account and all was well so i call the real tcf cutomer service number and asked them if they were trying to get ahold of me(and they werent) they did not reconize the numbers and told me to call visa fraud prevention(a different 877 number) visa said they didnt reconize it either and that I should not call it back. I had called it from a different number then my home and they answered tcf i just hung up. THIS IS A PHONE SCAM TO GET YOUR BANK INFO DO NOT CALL THEM BACK! I reported the number to federal trade commission id theft hotline and they said i did the right thing that this is most likey an attempt to gain bank information from you. if you get this call i urge you to do the same.

upon further investigation the carrier for this number is
       "Wisconsin Bell Inc - Wi"

no clue.... i got a call from this number leaving no voice mail preventing me from responding or even knowing who or what this is!!!?!?!?   so yea....   needless to say how pointless to attemtpt to contact ppl with a suspisious number nowhere near where they live.....
