If you have an answering machine, the line was answered and they know it is an active line. It doesn't matter if you actually pick up the phone or not.

Caller ID is a wonderful tool. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer. If they are valid they can leave a message. I can delete spam messages easily. If you answer these calls it lets them know it is an active line and then they sell your number to other spam-bot ripoff companies.They make money even if you hang up after answering! It is simple. DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALL! I started ignoring the calls that used to be 4-5 times a day and now I get 2-3 a week. I don't believe you can ever get your number completely off their lists, but if they don't get a response they move on to the next victim and try. Also a lot of these people use a random number dialer to make these calls.

How do we get rid of telemarketer who ignores no call list?  Suspect scammer.

Just another scam trying to take advantage of anyone they can. I doubt very much if they are calling from Wisconsin at all---the scammers use all spoofed (false) numbers.

I pressed "1" and got a person. Asked her to remove me from the list and they hung up on me.  They said it was for Senior Emergency.

Going to BBB next, but not sure where they are from - is it really milwaukee?

Got a call from this number...I let it go to the answer machine because I didn't recognize the number. I'm on the do not call list...so why are they calling me?  I'm with those who say BAN telemarketers!!

I am on the no call list. This number has called several times over the last couple weeks.

I just let answering machine take it, and nobody leaves a message.

Been getting this call I live in Brookfield, WI. So has my Parents that live in New Berlin, WI
They claim they are repersenting "Associated Bank" they want me to press numbers on my phone; which I never do just hang up or my answering takes call. Scamer? Wanting to take my money???

They called my house. When I tried calling back just got busy signal.

How is it possible they got BANK INFO!  After 30+ years in IT, I know that's impossible!  If you GIVE bank info to anyone YOU DIDN'T CALL you deserve what you get!  I'm tired of fraud scare tactics....

DON'T GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO, NO MATTER WHO/WHAT THEY SAY, UNLESS YOU CALLED THEM AND KNOW WHO THEY ARE!!!!!

My folks got a call from this number tonight 1/17 and the women on the other end of the line started to talk about shootings and abortions and murders in Milwaukee and Waukesha,Wi.
My dad hung up on her.
I tried to call the number back although I just got a message stating 'The caller you reached is out of the service area'.

Who is this no.  I am on the no call list.

414-562-6363 called with a taped message starting "... If you are a senior citizen..."  I hung up the phone.

I revived a similar call from a different number and searched it here. The call was the same as this one when it called me [(414) 562-6363], hung up as soon as I answered. I reviewed the comments and people were saying their bank accounts were being hacked as a result. Please check you bank every week or every day if possible. We need to put an end to this!

This number calls daily on my cell.  When I answer it hangs up.  I return the call and there are 3 beeps.   Nothing else.  This number needs to be deleted from the user.  We are on the no call list and are tired of junk phone calls.

We received a all from this idiot too. We also were not home at the time and since there was no message on our machine, I knew it wasn't any of my family in the Milwaukee area. Telemarketing SHOULD be banned!!!

Hung up when they got my answering machine. Just for laughs, I called them back - got the partial message "Thanks for calling. To find out if..." and I was disconnected. Ooooo - the suspense is KILLING me!
