Same thing happened to me me this past week saying that he was going to file court papers to stand trial in the state of CA never been there don't owe anyone in that state so I googled Kent Thompson I was going to call there law firm it shows San Diego not San Fran where his call is suppose to be coming from . Somebody needs to stop these people I have been receiving crazy things like this since I applied for a pay day loan. So far I've had idiots claiming to be from FBI ,SBI and all have foreign accents do like I have turn it over to homeland secruity.

The same exact thing just happened to me, but he called from 415-449-4731, Vincent Chabria.  Supposedly I did business with a National Loan, which I never had.  He asked me not to interrupt him when reading the affidavit, but I did when he sounded like a robot and he said a company I never did business with.  I decided to look him up and it's reassuring to know that this guy is up to no good, which I thought.  When I kept telling him I've never done business with this company, he kept trying to convince me that I did.  I am glad I challenged him and said I will have my attorney call him, especially when he said my court date will be in San Francisco on Memorial Day.  Yeah right

i think it is funny that I just recently attempted to get a on line cash advance and didn't get it. but now a few days later I just got a call from 415-449-4731 also claiming to be The Law Offices of Ken Thompson claiming that they have a law suit against me in the State of California.. and I have never been to CA!! I live in another state as well. I have been getting alot of these calls here lately.. A total Scam!!

I received a call today too saying that I was being sued, same Tony Vincent name from Ken Thompson law firm?  He was very rude when I started questioning him!!  Scary!

My Boyfriend got a call from that same number twice in one day on 2/19  the guy was saying that a loan company had a lawsuit against my boyfriend for 7000 dollars which is not true and that he was a lawyer for for loan company and that he had to be in Califiona in two day for a court hearing to settle it this person is messed up and you couldnt understand guy at all and on the caller I'd it just said law office I could tell something was wierd about the name wouldnt it say the name of the company when some calls on the phone instead of law office

I just got off a phone call with this same bull at first i was scared then as he kepr talking thought something was fishy i asked him who was the loan through and what day was loan taken out why didnt they contact me by mail couldnt really tell me i told him i wasnt agreeing to s*** until i know who what when where and how after i hung up i got out my credit report didnt see anything on it went to the better business burea nothing there googled the law firm nothing googled the phone number and saw this and now i see that its a scam

They called and said that there was a criminal file against my daughters social security number and that she would be served with papers to appear in court in the state of California. She's a minor, never been to the state of California.

I called back this number on 2/14. Male person I talked to was difficult to understand due to my cellphone connection and his heavy accent. I asked him to spell one word he repeated several times and I didn't understand what the word was (I do have a master's degree and feel I have a fairly good understanding of the English language -- I just didn't know what he was saying). At this point he became irate and told me he has been in this country for 13 years and accused me of being racist!! Then he hung up on me. I called back and he suggested I report him to the California bar.

I called the CA bar and they told me there was no licensed attorney in the state of CA with the name Ken Thompson.

This same person called me also. I told him I was a bill collector and I know exactly how the process to collect a debt is made and I told him it wasnt in any of my records nor was it on my credit report of a national loan and i started cursing him out he hung up. I asked him what the account number was and what my address was that supposedly they sent the money he told me he couldnt tell me that so he got frustrated and hung up.

Yes I gotten the call today 2/11/2013 saying that i owe a online loan, and that i was being sued in the state of Ca, now I'm not from Ca, I live in another state, so I'm just wondering if this is a joke

yes is everyone getting calls from this number talking about a loan and they was taking us to court and they work for the law office of ken thmopson

Yes I received the same type of phone call and must say it is very disturbing.  Any suggestions as what do about a call such as this.

I rec'd the same call and when I asked for tony Vincent, they said there was no one there by this name and wanted my info, I said no way and hung up on them

Threaten to take me to court.  Something to do with my SS number. They said I would be expidited to San Francisco around the 15th of February.  The guy speaking said his name was Tony Vincent.

I received the same message and I'm no even in the state of California very frustrating!!

I received the same phone message on my6 voice mail. Same person and law firm. Thanks for word up.

You can hardly understand what he's saying .

Recieved calls from someone named Vincent.  Says he is from the office of Ken Thompson and that a Law suiteis is being filed against my social security number.  Also said that I will be recieving a summons in ten days followed by some extradition papers to be tried in a San Francisco Court.  First of all...No legit attorney is going
to call you and warn you in advance of a forthcoming summons.  It just doesn't work that way.  At this point I knew it had to be a scam.  If you received calls from anyone claiming to be a debt collector from 415-594-3060.  You can ignore it. There's no address for this number and the firm does not exist!!!!
