Caller ID reads "Home Security".  I know by now that most calls that I don't recognize are scams, but most especially any reading Home Security, Alert, Medical Alert, etc. are from lowlifes who just wish to target gullible seniors.  I'm not there, yet, you morons!!  And, when I get there, I won't be that dumb.  The minute the mind starts to go, I'll yank my phone, anyway.  I got my call from this number, on 5/6/14 at 6:34PM.  They have not tried again.  Good riddance.

This number comes up on caller ID as CALIFORNIA CALL.  Leaves no message.  Wish our dear sweet politicians would actually pass restrictions on calls like this, but wait robo call companies may have too strong a lobby.  

i love these people ...... after a long conversation with the hard to understand foreigner.....she wanted to verify all my info ..i told her well your calling with a ROBO DAILER!!!!!!.. and she didn't understand what i was talking about....as she palyed DUMB with me i gave it all back to her after 15 minutes on the phone with her she got made as she figued out that I  WASTED her time and that she wasn't gonna make any money from me ... wooo hooo   she got so she got so MAD well i have wasted her time,,, woo hoo....

Prerecorded message is initially somewhat startling, as it mentions "an increased crime rate in your area".  Bogus scare tactic by yet another desperate telemarketing outfit.  DON'T TAKE THE BAIT.

i was called & put on a list buy what sounded like 2 men but i called back and an old lady answered & did not know either

The call started like this: Due to the high crime rate in your area........I didn't listen to the rest. There's only a handful of houses on my street and everyone knows what is going on. I don't know the name of the company, but know it has something to do with burglar alarm systems. So tired of every day calls with some kind of schemes.

.Caller ID said Home Security and they didn't leave a message.  A callback on the cell phone got a recorded message that said to press one now if you don't want to get anymore calls.  They never identified themselves.

I protected my "Home Security" by not answering the call. Others should do the same. Just report them.

415-620-4275. Unsolicited alarm monitoring scam trying to place GE wireless security system (Alexis). They asked for my number to have a "manager" call me back with details. Said she didn't know my number because she was on an outbound calling system.

Got a call from this # today. Caller ID said: "HOME SECURITY" .

Called this morning at 10:47 am Pacific time, and hung up without leaving a message. Caller ID said: "HOME SECURITY" and the phone number.

Another scam. Trying to give away free security system. Says from GE! Just hung up and blocked number!

Caller ID is useful to me.  I never answer unknown callers. (period)

These people's called my phone I answered it no one said anything and hung up phone. I politely called the number back it stated the same recording like leave message,What type of business is this,I think this company is a Scam!!!!!!!!I

If you received a call from this company, identifying itself as "The Alarm Company" as well as other fake names, you should on to the FCC website and file a complaint form 1088C.  I've done some researched and identified this company as Alarm Marketing Group of West Haven, CT.  I filed a complaint, but the best way to get the FCC to act is for as many complaints as possible to be filed.  Then they will go after the company, and they will end up  losing more money than they made, the FCC usually makes sure of that.

The operators try to hide the company's real information, because their employers know they are acting illegally. They will say they don't know the phone number of the company they work at, will stick to vague names, and will not give their own full name as they are required to do.

Calls that begin with a prerecorded message are illegal since Oct 2013, unless the company has received your explicit consent to make such calls.  Even an established business relationship is no longer enough, they must have an ACTIVE consent by you before the call is made.

Called our number. It did not display a caller ID.

Caller ID said California call.

Recorded message advertising security systems from GE Security.  I did not talk to anyone and just hung up.  

No message -- called I.D. said, "Home Security."   That's a new one!

Good grief. That posting got totally scrambled. I didn't type it like that!

Called my cell phone. No callercorded ID and I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. No voice mail left. Two others reported call fromfrom that numberthe in thethe last 4night hours soof it looks like a new number for some telemarketer.
