Caller ID came up as Monsterworldwide. I don't know who they are. But if I get another I will just do the *60 and block them.

Caller id said unknown. They called several times and never left a message. When I finally answered they started asking personal questions. I hung up blocked the number.

I recently ordered a product online and realized after the transaction went through that it may be a scam. Anyways, I received a call from this no. and when I answered they hung up. I call back and it sounds like an ambulance. I also looked up the number on another website and it said that the line has been connected to service since a few hours before they called me. I bet it is the scammers. Be careful who you order from. Here's a tip research the seller and try not to buy from outside your coutry. B/C only the frauds from the US can be charged in the US.

Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW) is the parent company for Monster.com; it also owns other well-known websites such as HotJobs, Military.com, HMForces.co.uk, NursingLink.com, Tickle.com and Fastweb.com. This is what I found when I looked it up. I have been getting alot of emails lately for jobs.

I am guessing by typing the monsterworldwide, it goes to Monster.com, which means somebody put your phone number into their database and gave permission to call the number.  I ventured it is my son, who will put his home number instead of his cell phone, because of these types of calls.

I received a message from this number and I answered it.  They asked me if i applied for some college information.  I told them no and they said ok thank you and hung up.  
I thought it was a little strange so I entered the number and found my way here.  
As another post states that it is Monster World Wide.  I truly believe this is the case and they are updating cell phone numbers and creating a database.  How they got the numbers who knows?

Got a call from this number, didn't answer. No VM. Caller ID shows "MONSTERWORLDWID"

Got the call from this number when it asked for me I told them it wasn't and he just hung up just like that.  I google the phone and it was from cali.
Strange.

My wife didnt answer this call, but when I called back it was disconnected.

Received a call from this "company" today, looking for my niece (who has no idea what this is) who does not live with us!!!  When you call the number back, it goes to a dial tone

same here its annoying it has happened a couple time i have verizon, when i call back just goes to a dial tone...

I had the same thing happen to me.  I don't know who it is.  It disconnected when I answered.

So did i, however, i didnt answer. When i called back it wouldnt go through...it kind of beeped once and then went back to a dial tone...
