This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Lost $200 to "mr. Davenport" yesterday because he scared the heck out of me. I am still worried about them calling my job.

This is serious they have a lot of personal information, can get relatives phone numbers, they know where you work, you live and other things.

I just dialed that same number. I normal person answered when I expected to be greeted by an automated system belonging to CASH ADVANCE USA.

I just got a call from a man at the phone number 916.238.8478
THis guy "Mike Andrews" says that I am being sued. He said that he was trying to help me resolve this issue with his "client" which I had apparently received a loan from.
He said i needed to pay the loan amount, plus a $30 fee, and that I was not allowed to pay with any debit card linked to my checking account, or use my bank account because I was already in violation of Bank Law.OH and also told me that I would be arrested today if I did not pay them and resolve this issue...

SOOO i got all shook up & I checked my  bank account. THere was some type of check processing for $30.
the bank cant see yet who it is from because it is still processing.,

Anyways, I did get 2 loans from Shorline & Hydra Fund ll
each for $150. and I have confirmation from each that my due date for my first payment is 10/18
so that being said I had never received any loan from any other place. He insisted it was not a payday loan that i had received it was an advance and that I was supposed to pay it within 72 hours of its deposit...

THEN when he called back I told him I checked my bank account & didnt receive any other type of loan from cash advance usa. or anyother cash advance, he got loud with me, started yelling & said that cops were on their way & then hung up.

Telling me I'm going to jail if I don't pay him....

Damon Marshall called me with the same thing yesterday I ended up giving him $500. Now I still owe the cash advance and family that lend me the money. I have no idea how I am going to do this. he played me big time.

Just received a call from Damon Marshall stating he's an attorney and I received a payday loan didn't pay back and officers will b arresting me in 45 minutes. This is definitely a scam because it's illegal to threaten arrest over civil debt. Debt is handled in civil and not criminal court. I also got this same call. I did a payday loan over a year ago so I thought this might be legit. He was threatening me with jail saying he was issuing a warrant for my arrest. I stupidly paid the money then I figured out it was a scam and filed a police report. This guy is a piece of garbage and needs to be caught!!!!

I just rec'd a call from a daman marshall stating tht I owe 750 dollars for a cash advance loan and will give me 2 hrs to send the money. I'm not sending him "S***". I called my attorney and hes going to look into this matter.

Kavin Lloyd is a scum bag with no guts. He is an 18 year old boy that likes to call people that he fraudulently received their sensitive info off a loan application and threaten you with whatever he can to get you to send him money before you can get time to think about it. He is a coward that has no life of his own but to infringe on others...too bad this poor sole never had parents that were even worth the straw shoes on their feet.
