No message left. Do not know who called me.

me too answering machine answers and a recorded message says good bye and disconnects

same thing "...goodbye..." and then a hang up.

A lot of noise in the background.  Couldn't tell what the caller was saying.  Said so and hung up.

I got a call and when I picked up and no one answered and then when they called back I did not answer they did not leave a message on the call answer. They must be a call centre and I am listed with the Do Not Call List, what a joke.

Just got a call from this number.  A woman answered, with a strong ethnic accent (one guess what country).  I was given the ever popular "we want to give you a cell phone for free pitch."  I had to keep reminding her that I was still there and to read the next line of her script.  

Usually when I ask for a supervisor, I get hung up on but this time I did get to one and I read him the riot act about these types of calls.  Mentioned laws, illegal numbers, fines with dollar amounts in attempts to spook him.  No clue if it will have *any* effect (I'm not holding my breath) but it was worth a shot.
