The top few posts suggest that he has a website and is offering a deal on furnaces. I didn't pick up as I didn't recognize the number. Clearly this company is breaking the law calling people who are on the do not call list. I will report them to the CRTC.

I had a call from that number telling the same story I've read here. I booked the appointment bit now realize I double booked myself for something else more important so I guess I'll miss it as see what happens. I wonder if they will call again to rebook it. I'm glad I check out the phone number so now I can check back in. And yes the call display showed the number being from the OEA.

The sales agent was over to view our furnace and airconditioner, he was very courteous and not pushy. Ontario Energy Group is out of Mississauga, On. also in Toronto/ website www.ontarioenergygroup.com. They were trying to sell Goodman HE furnaces and air conditioners only if needs to be replaced. Offering monthly plans, service agreement Lifetime and every 10 year replacement. We did not go into every detail with him as we did not need it and he was honest right from the start.

Wanted to check my furnace for efficiency. From Hydro. Called me back and said if furnace no more than 8 years old I would qualify for a free replacement. I made an appointment and will see what happens.
