Just got a phone call from this number. Some guy asked for me by my last name, then continued on to tell me that because I pay my bills on time, I have been selected for a vacation(?) for 28 days?!?!?!?!  I could hardly understand what he said, so I'm sure I heard wrong. Even asking him to repeat himself didn't help me understand. Are they just randomly going through the phone book? WTF?!?!

The guy that just called my house said he was calling from a Securities Company and wanted to offer me free financial advice so i would get more back on my tax return. Not only did he insist that I was my dead great mother-inlaw but continued to talk after I said I was not interested AND called back after I hung up... its definitely a SCAM do not give out any information

Ok I am sitting here at work and I got already 10 calls from this number and it won't stop..when I called number not in service...from what I remember it is a gas company trying to get information from you...trying to think of the company...its a SCAM!

This number is a land line from Toronto.  The postal code M3M 1J6 covers 1154 Wilson Avenue on the corner of Wilson Avenue and Agate Road.  It's an apartment building since many people live there and several residents have the 638 in their phone number but 416-638-8384 is not listed.

The only thing I could find about this number is that it is a landline and Bell Canada is the carrier.  Also, this number is from Toronto, ON M3M 1J6.

Could hardly even understand the person on the phone and when told I wasnt interested she persisted. Tried the number back and it came back out of service...so how do they call me from that number????

These callers are annoying enough at home, but when I've got patients to take care of, and other phone lines ringing, it is infuriating!!  This number has called twice today in the last two hours! I answer, they don't say anything, then they hang up.  I called it back and the message says the number is no longer in service, so how on earth did they call me from it???  I called 411 and they were no help - they said to contact our phone service provider which I'll do when I get 5 minuttes!!

I got a call every day from this a**hole about some security s**t, I told the f***er to stop calling me every day and he said something like listen buddy and hung up. it's phone spam.

I just got a called from this number and he said he was from TD bank.  He start asking me for my expire date on my visa, I told him they should have it file, he said that if i didn't give it to him he would cancel my visa.  i told him I didn't understand him if I can talk to someone else, then he got very rude and he hung up....dont give any info out to this number....

someone with an indian/pakistani accent asked for my dad.  I asked for the callers name, he said Roger Williams (obviously a lie).  When confronted with a question on why he was calling he hung up.

I just had a call from this number and she said something about insurance then I told her I was not interested then she said she was not trying to sell it and hung up!! WTF!!

Recieved two calls from this # today & answered only one.  He said that he was calling to give me a free home security system.

this a**#$@e called me back again today. my wife answered.  she asked him why he wanted info. he said he wanted to give us a free trip. My wife just hung up.  what a moron

I also recd 2 calls from this number 419-638-8384 ONE AFTER THE OTHER.
He, THE ASSHALF ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE, claimed that he was into mortgages and wanted a lot of personal info.
I asked him where his company is located?
He replied "In your area Brampton, Ontario".
I asked him where in Brampton?
He replied, "Why do you want to know?
I told him if he could not tell me where his company was located, why should I give him my personal info, and therefore do not call back, and I put the phone down.
He called back within a minute, and my wife answered, and his response was F*** YOU.
I GUESS THAT, THAT COMPANY CONSIST OF NOTHING BUT CON ARTIST, AS I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ANY LEGIT COMPANY WOULD BEHAVE IN SUCH A MANOR.
BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER 416-638-8384 SHOULD YOU HAVE CALLER  I. D.  AND THIS NUMBER SHOWS UP.
I called back the number 416-683-8384 and the recording said THIS NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE.
I called BELL TELEPHONE SERVICE DEPARTMENT and told them that A FEW MINUTES AGO, at about 6.45 pm. I recd a call from this number and when I called back, how come it is not in service.
Bell then told me that that number is not a bell number, as they have no record of it.
I then checked on the Internet on one of the reverse phone lookup directories, and guess what?
The reverse look up says it is a BELL LAND LINE IN TORONTO, AND HAS A MAP WITH AN ARROW ON THE MAP TO SHOW YOU WHERE IN TORONTO.
Now go figure. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AROUND HERE?
SOMEBODY IS FULL OF S***, AND THERE IS AT LEAST ONE CONMAN IN THE MIDDLE OF IT SOMEWHERE.

this caller called me about a visa. i told him i didn't have one. he told me that his records show that i've used one.   what he didn't know was that i used my wifes visa to reserve a hotel (hampton inn) but the booking is under my name.  he quickly hung up. that's when i looked up his phone #.   i tried to call it but it say's that it's a unlisted #.  what an idiot.

Caller wanted visa information I would not give him my #. He did not know who the primary card holder was on 1 card and started fishing for info on another. Visa or banks would have this info. Who can you get in touch with to stop these scamers.

We recieve several of these calls. They are from Summit Energy. DO NOT sign up with them. We've asked them to stop calling us for the last 3 months, and they refuse to. The next time they call, I'm going to threaten charges to see if that makes it stop. They're very agressive people and will lie. We had someone come to our door claiming to be our hydro company, asking to see our bill. I called the hydro company and they said it wasn't them, they don't send people door to door, and to not show or give ANYONE our account number because they will sign you up for their services.
