I let the answering machine pick up the call and the accented caller just kept saying "Hello? Helloooooooo?" Then he mentioned something about offering something to allow me to make long distance calls and repeated "Hellooooooo?" again a few more times before ringing off. Clearly using an autodialer so that they miss the outgoing machine message and think they're speaking to an actual person.
