i got a letter from euromillones award presentation its a scam last time i got a check like this i tried to cash it and went to jail people beware it really mesed up my life

This scam is still going on.  We received the letter last month with a check $3,900, with a promise that we'd won $125,000.  Our "claim agent", John Morris answered the phone, but we hung up.  Our letter and check are going in the shredder!

I recieved an final notice letter with a check for 4499.95 to deposit in my bank account and then call back for instructions. contact person is Kelly Anderson. Some people struggle very hard and may believe these scam artists we are in a recession you know. People can be wiped out, please get these heartless uncaring individuals, PLEASE.

I am a police officer and have run into this scam quite a bit.  I am currently prosecuting a woman charged with forging one of these checks for $3900. We have no leads on the company, the Feds deal with issues like that (NBC Dateline too I suppose.)  Throw these types of letters in the trash!

I got a simular message.  But the ph.no. was different.  Is there such a sweepstakes from the government?  Or is the whole thing a farce.

That's an awful thing for heartless people to do.  It could cause
people with heart problems to have a heart attack.

I got a letter for unclaimed winning and a check for $4920.00 When I called some foreign guy told me to cash the check and call him back.  I hope these creeps get caught

We recieved the letter dated June 20th - with the 3,900 check from Chase - Chicago, IL. The originator of the check:  J.P Inc 225 Industrial Drive - Hampshire, IL  60140.  The envelope was mailed from Canada. Deadline to claim the 250,000 is July 6th 2008.  We too were instructed to reach Ron Clark at 1-647-889-5077.  1st attempt to contact him we reached a number that sounded like children were in the background playing.  2nd time we were informed Ron Clark was not available, but they wanted our claim number - which we did not supply.  I'd like to notify the appropriate authorities - where do I start?

Basic same info as the details of all the other people. this check was on Bank One, Columbus, Ohio gave a July 3rd dead line to claim. same call number 1-905-598-5120, same Ron Clark and email adress is abcfinancials@yahoo.ca .  hope no one false for it, we are going to the post office to give copy to postmaster.

I got it too $1900 check I knew it was too good to be true.  They probably have you cash it and send them some money before your bank finds out the check is no good then you're stuck with the bad check and owing whatever you sent these scum bags and the banks fees.  Some people will go to any lengths to steal hard earned money.  Why don't the lazy b*****ds just get a job!!!!!!!  Lower then scum they are!!!!!!!!!

I have recieved a 'Final Notice of Winning' in October!!! and also a check for $1,900, part of which was supposed to be paid for government taxes and rest for insurance on the winning. The winning amount was for $85,000!!! The letter came from International claims unit,185 shaw street,Niagara Falls M7G-2T9. I was asked to contact Ron Clark (Claims attorney) at 1 416 834 8313. I found my letter in the junk pile of papers today. I called the above just for the heck of it--The message said the 'customer is unavailable at the moment and to try the call again later! I browsed the web and found out all this wasa scam!

I got the same thing today with a check for $3900 and a letter with a final notice promising $250,000 when I called to activate. The number didn't even work.

My cousin just got a check for 1900.00 from the same sweepstakes. I keep trying to tell her that this is a scam, but she does not beleive me. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

Quite the scam.  Yvette Bodkins is on the letter in additon to Ron Clark. Australian Swsweepstakes lottery program scam!

i lied and told mr ron clark that i had deposited the check for 3900.00.  i did not deposit it and it is drawn on bank of america in illinois.  i called them and i a have a florida address to send a copy of the check. he told me to money gram a money to: "alice watson" 125 john st, milton, ontario canada.  if you contact me i will fax you a copy of the lette and the check for 3900.00 i received.  i would like to see them caught and will help you any way i can.
I CALLED 1-416-834-8313 TO CLAIM MY MONEY  THEN I WAS GIVEN THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS.  BANK OF AMERICA SAID NO ROUTING OR ACCOUNT NUMBERS ON THAT CHECK EXISTS.

This number is listed on a fraudulent sweepstakes letter.  Please contact the authorities if you have received this letter.
