This number is in fact york region police. call this number 905-830-4947 to be taken off the list.

i have gotten a call every day for the last 2 weeks from that number, just get a hang up after about a minute. tryed calling back, no answer.

For the past 4 days, this # 1-416-848-7844 called several times a day. When the call was answered, it was dead silent and caller hung up in about one minute. I ignored it several times and on one occasion the caller claimed to be from York Regional Police and asked for donations. I don't believe the caller is from York Regional Police.
