416-850-1521 keeps calling our number over and over at all hours of the day.  It stopped for a while for a period of about 2 weeks and now is calling during the day and 3 or 4 times a night.  Really really annoying. We never pick up and answer so not sure why the heck they keep calling.

Called today at 1pm No one spoke. Called back. Answering machine said it was the "general information line. Please leave # and they'd call back". I did NOT leave my number.

I'm considering leaving a bomb threat message on their General Information line's mailbox.  They might at least identify themselves.

I'm thinking about getting rid of my landline.  They always call at inopportune time too!

This is one of three numbers that call repeatedly.  Same experiences as Holly & David.  We do not pick-up.  How do we stop these annoying calls?

hahaha  must be a fraud, otherwise an authorized Organisation wouldnt have a person phone number....this is getting really annoying... we are paying for our phone line not them..where is our privacy going now?

I just got a weird sigh/sound on my voice message so called *69 and the 'message' was from 850-1`521. strange.

I just recieved a call from this number telling me it was one of my charaties (little to now i only donate to one specific one), called the CANDLE FOUNDATION. When i told him in not donating i called the number back and it went to a mail boxes of "GENERAL INFORMATION".

I received this call today, right @ 1pm on the dot, I used to get alot more of these calls when I was on a Bell land line though...now with VOIP its new segments, and a whole new phone spamming technology...oh just wait, we haven't seen anything yet...

Anyways, if they call, this is what you say to make them go away:

"I'm sorry, I only donate directly with the company/foundation."

I am glad I am not the only one who is getting driven nuts with these phone calls. I lost count of how many times this number has called my house. I've told them over and over again to quit calling here, and we weren't interested in what they were offering and to take out number off of the calling list. They called yesterday, and when I answered they hung up. Just today in the span of 30 minutes they called twice. The first time I didn't answer, and the second time I picked up the phone but didn't say anything,...and listened for about 20 seconds, and he kept saying...hello , hello? Next time they call they are gonna hear what I have to say.

I got the call so far 12 times today starting at 1:00 and last night I got a call as late at 9:30 pm.... I just called my phone company and they have call screen where you can add numbers you don't wish to ever get through and  they hear a recording like "the person at this number does not wish to accept your calls"
you would think with internet the telemarketers would have no jobs

Traced the call through reverse look-up to this site.

I got a call from this number today and yesterday. The person on the other end of the line called at least 6 times in two days. Phone rings...I answer...then the other end hangs up. Same as all the information listed already by other people. I called back and left a message to buzz off on the general info line. If it continues, I'm just going to keep calling the number back as many times as it calls me.

I have received 27 phone calls from these people over the last 4 days!!!! I have left them messages  stating to ceist and desist calling. I have advised C Gonsalves via voice mail that I work for an attorney and I have been tracking their calls. Also I would be pressing charges if they ever called my home after 9pm est again .. when I call back get a recording stating it's the general  information line and to leave a message.. anyone have any ideas besides driving up there???

Hey thanks! You know, I work at a collection agency which strictly follows the law and I know that, if a company doesn't remove your number from their list after you have specifically said that you have no dealings with them and have eclearly commanded them to remove your number, the can be chaged with harrassment. This company is prohibited from the action it appears to be taking and I am unsure as to why it is being toleratd. They called my number and hung up right as i picked up, so I called them back saying that I know the law quite well, left only my number, told them to remove my number, and said that, if they called my number again, I would take legal action.

9:03pm....These idiots will not let up! If it's not one scam being offered by them, then it's another. I for one remember moronic tales over the phone and cross reference these same tales to phone numbers that appear on call display. Funny thing, it seems to be the same a***oles every time, over and over again....it would be nice if scumbags like this were able to co-ordinate and take a collective leap off the planet.

This number calls everyday, twice a day, until late at night.

Once on the seventh of december and twice today alone. Haven't made it to the phone but I usually don't make a point to answer the land line as no one important ever calls it :P

I've been getting 4 to 5 calls from them for a few days now. Any update on the CRTC complaint? Where can I go to file one?

A call came in from these folks late yesterday (Sunday) afternoon - saw the number on my call display ("unknown name") and there was no msg left on my voicemail. I thought it was strange to have a solicitation call on a Sunday so I decided to check the # out. I called it and got an answering machine saying that I've reached the "general inquiries line" also requesting that I leave my name and telephone #. They did not identify themselves as being any business or organization. Of course, I did not leave any info - I just wanted to see who/whast I would reach if I called back. I am pretty fed up with all of the telemarketing calls......

Hi... We live in Manitoba & we just received a call from this number this morning & the person had a strange accent and asked for only our last name.  when I asked who it was... they said "mumble mumble Canadian Cancer mumble mumble"  I told them we were not interested & to remove our number.  He asked if he could call back & I said no...please remove our number.  I thought this call was really bizarre - please do not give this caller any personal information!  I'm contacting the RCMP fraudulent callers on this one!
