You obviously did not live here when the NDP had power or you would never suggest this. By the time they left we had a sky high deficiet.
No One's Business Who I Vote For 2011-10-02 21:33:44 Political Call
I got a call this morning from the PC Party and the lady on the phone wouldn't let up on me on the phone. I had told her I was currently undecided and that I'd be looking at all parties' platforms to get a better sense as to who I will vote for. Then she started getting pushy and rude. She rudely told me, what you're going to vote McGuinty in...don't I want to change. I then told her to calm down and that it was none of her business whom I was voting for. She breathed a deep sign - HUH - and I hung up the phone as she started on again. Like really, you call me first thing in the morning and badger me. Just leave us alone!!!

Political parties are allowed to call you regardless of your enlistment in the DNCR.
Ironically they call my cell and never my home.
Thanks Hudak for personally costing me additional funds on my cell bill every month... You have called me a half dozen times now!!!
Legislation needs to change on this one!!!!!!

They called me yesterday - are they breaking the law? I am on the "do not call" list.
never tell them you are not voting 2011-09-30 13:20:40 Unknown
Even if you do not plan to vote
these are scam calls to see if you are going to vote or not - If you say no - they mark your name and send some illegal or homeless person to vote in your place.
ITS CALLED VOTER FRAUD!
Sam 2011-09-30 12:44:37 Unknown
Well as we all know, voting is by law.... PRIVATE. ...so why would anyone disclose his or her preference to ANY unknown caller. Yes I too have had numerous inquiries .
Sloooopy 2011-09-30 01:01:52 Unknown
I am tired of these political parties leaving long-winded messages on my voicemail and using up all the free space. grrrrr

This number does not leave messages, and I am sure it's the same people using 1.905.871.1590! I have told them to take me off their phone list and they ensured me they would 2 weeks ago! I gather it's these kind of people we have running our government and no wonder it's a "blinking" mess! Don't bug me and it's my business who I will vote for and you don't need to know ahead of time! That's even if I vote! Doesn't matter who gets in... it's all the same b.s.!! Same b.s. different person!!

irritated 2011-09-15 00:22:55 Political Call
Yup they called my number. I don't know who I'm going to vote for right now. I don't think I have to explain to anyone who I vote for and why. (i'm not talking about you guys on this forum - but the so-called caller) I am going to say at the moment I am "undecided" and am going to listen to the debate and think about their platforms but I have an idea whom I'm leaning towards. The prime minister who cares about the citizens of this province - for one thing.

I just left the PC Party a message saying that although I vote PC, if I receive one more unsolicted call from them I'll vote for the Communist Party. It is seriously annoying behaviour. Every evening! They also call under 800-903-6453.

Whoa! Bill!! Nice rant there!! Maybe vote for the Radical Marijuana Party, hm? NDP?? omg....
All political parties are exempt from the Do Not Call lists. I was lucky enough to get a live voice on my call from this number. I told them that my vote was going to, you guessed it, the Radical Marijuana Party. Every time I do this, provincial and federal politicos seem to stop calling me.
Maybe my number is on some clandestine watch list now and is tapped... hang on. I hear someone at my door.......

Seems to be the Ontario PC party running a recorded survey. Answering machine picked up and recorded last part of message.

B*****ds all, and they ignore do-not-call lists.
It's the Ontario PC Party.
Folks, do not give these people the time of day, let alone your vote. If you'll recall, the last time they got into power in Ontario, (the utterly slimy and totally corrupt) Mike Harris, gutted the Ontario Health Care system in order to balance the budget. It has never recovered and what was taken out was never put back in. The Ontario Liberals can't be trusted either as they betrayed their entire voter base by instituting a massive tax grab during a recession no less, when they quietly pushed through and applied the HST across the PST-exempt based GST-only services. Send a strong message to both the Ont. Liberals and the Conservatives by electing the NDP with a majority in the October 2011 election. They haven't yet had the opportunity to fully screw us over yet, although they did try a bit when Bob Rae was in power...but he proved himself to be a Liberal in the end. Doesn't really matter who you vote for in October so long as it is neither the PCs or the Liberals.
