I asked them to take me off of their call list and they confirmed they would do so. I received no calls but, after about 3 months I have now started getting calls from them again!

Said they were calling from Scotia Bank and wanted to speak to a person in my househould (I refused). I called Scotia Bank and they told me not to give them any information. The caller is NOT from Scotia Bank.

got a call while putting my just settled 4 year old to bed.  so he got riled up again...and I come down to find out who called and it was these jerks.  I called back and left a message asking them to put me on their dnc list.  will most likely do no good as these are...telemarketers.  infuriating at times (always) I must say.

Your phone company if its a mobile phone has sold ur number to these telemarketer which is illegal they called me and asked for me by name so its not a scam company they wouldn't know you by name it's probilly sumthng you signed up for I just told them no one here by that name so its not telemarketers if it was they would still try to sell something it's probilly collections calling you

They call me regularly...When I pick up, they hang up on me...

Calls daily. No one there when I pick up. I assume scam.

Do what I do. If someone calls and you do not recognize the number, talk in a "foreign language". They will not bother you again.

Got the same call just now - said it was a "courtesy call" on behalf of Scotiabank - ?  Probably trying to sell insurance through the bank if you  have an account with them.  Third call this week!!

I have received countless phone calls from this number and although I am a very patient woman - I have had enough.

Called and said they were calling from Scotiabank. I asked for her ext # so I could call back using the 800 # on the Scotia website. Then she said she was calling "on behalf of" Scotiabank. I said your not from Scotiabank she said I didn't say I was. I said yes, when I asked who was calling you said "Sherry from Scotiabank" I told them to p****off and not call me again.

I just received a call for 416-9157930.  As noted in this channel, the line beeps a couple of times before the Scotia rep picks up

another call # 506-854-7281 - out of moncton -being charged for this call as well

keeps calling me too -but i got billed for it -out of toronto is all i know -416 915 -7930 - must be a scam !!

I keep getting calls from this number. I answered it just to see who was bugging me. Turns out it's Scotia Bank trying to sell me some kind of insurance on my bank account......won't work for me....already had the accident and am now a paraplegic.....they didn't help me than and it won't help me now....I told them NO, I don't want the insurance....BUT they keep calling back...Now when I see the number come up on my call display, I pick up the phone and hang it up right away before anyone has a chance to speak.......Will they ever get the message??  I think not!!

been receiving calls from these people as well. Checked with my bank and they "assured" me that they did not give out my info. I call bs on that but that's another day. I've reported them to the CRTC using this form.

i just called and left a message with my phone number/first name only and told them to stop calling my phone we will see if this works they have been calling my phone for 6 months now

scotia bank insurance

called me 3 times and my phone blocked the calls.. they called 3 more times.. at this point my call blocker crashed and 3 calls got thru. f*** these people.

I got an evening phone call from this but hung  up on them because my Scotia card was phished last week.

Don't you just love it when callers don't identify themselves?

1-416-915-7930 had no idea who this was until finding their # here, thanks for info everyone! Won't answer those!
