It is about a stupid college loan stuff... I have been getting it too... Can't seem to get them to stop calling

oh, I'm glad it's just college stuff. I was afraid to answer it because of all the people from Jamaica charging an arm and a leg and your first born child to listen to their message.

Same thing call come in and they hang up

again i am on the do not call list.  this # calls & when answered, nobody talks at all.  when called back, same response.  reported yesterday, too.

caller id 416-916-1091.  call over and over again...do not say anything when answered and just a message when I call them back...does appear to be Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh...

I have received 7 calls from this number.  This is probably an automatic dialer looking for a fax machine.  If you look at the page that Shimarisu references, it is listed as their FAX number.  It is just a fax machine blindly looking for another machine.

Please please please do not call the number Shimarisu - 29 May 2009 lists above as the contact in Canada for this company.  This is actually my home number and I am not involved with this organization in any way.

I have sourced another contact for this organization (below) for you to use, and have requested they remove my number and investigate this fax dialing issue immediately.  It may be they are the victim of a scam or lines being crossed, but hopefully they can help solve this if it is indeed their number.

these jokers just called me SIX times within the space of an hour.

Receiving calls several times a day. Most of the time picked up by the answering machine, but no message left. Wife answered once today and caller said they wanted to talk to me about schools (I was not home at the time.). When asked if they were calling from Canada, the caller said no, Buffalo, N.Y. Have called back since and wife reports no one on the line when she answered the second time today.
I am suspecting this is a telephone spamming operation since the number is listed to the Bangladesh Accountant organization's North American office Fax number. I believe the actual caller is using Caller ID spoofing to display a telephone number other than the one being used to make the calls.

I got a call from them asking for Kim.  No Kim here.  Earlier in the day I got a call from 708-329-7009 also asking for Kim.  I bet they are spoofing the numbers.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to stop all the calls?  I'm getting something like 3 calls a day, for the past couple of days.

i get a call from this number everyday it only rings one time then they hang up i call it back and it's some recording it's reall starting to get on my nerves..who is this?

this is starting to really becoming annoying. I recieve seven calls a day and then there are days that I get more. Iwish that this will stop.

OMG who ever this belongs to keep calling me multiple times a day and it's a voice activated thing... How do I get it off their list!

This time I answered it and it was indeed someone from a education place calling about my inquiry about continuing my education. I told them to stop calling me and hung up on them but I'm sure they'll call back.

I have been getting calls also from this number it started a few months ago then stopped.Now it's starting back again.I am going to try and block the number.

Please, don't call me anymore, if you are at least leave a  damn message. Please stop it!  It's getting annoying!

Got a call from this number, it is from Toronto, Canada. No message left.

Called Telus (403-310-1000 Option 1). They called the number and it belongs to research telephone company Nanos Research, Toronto (1-888-737-5505) Ext 223. Nik Nanos CEO

Repeated, daily calls.  Sometimes no one is there.  Other times they talk about online education.  Says we've requested information, which we have not.  STOP CALLING US!

They talked when I answered, they were saying I inquired about furthering my education. I told them I did not and to stop calling me and then I hung up. I am also on the do not call list, in fact I put my phone number on the DNC list because of these calls. One day I got six of them within a half hour. I assume they will call again since that does not seem to matter to them.

The only treatment these guys need, is to pick up the phone and hang up immediately. People with ID-caller can see, that they are unknown...just treat them unknown.
