Death to telemarketers? There is no over weight people here, and go back to making things? The word you are looking for is manufacturing but insurance is not manufactured. I'm not sure what you think is stolen over the phone either, Liberty National sells life/ vision/ etc insurance.. you know benefits that most people that have a brain and understand the importance of having insurance need.

We run a business. Our telephone lines are for our customers and not for Liberty National to sell us something.

This country needs to go back to MAKING things, not SELLING STUFF. Then we might actually see the economy recover.

I just spoke with a person from Jam and very politely told him that we were not interested.  He would't hang up when I told him goodbye and he then called me back and acted like a crazed person.  I told him to not call us and hang up.  He was a real jerk.  I called back and got a recording and told them to add me to their do not call list.

We just received a call from this number and I let it go to voicemail.  It also said JAM Enterprises on the caller id.  They did leave a message.  When I check the message all is was was some weird heavy breathing.  Not like they forgot to hang up but it sounded like is was done on purpose.  Weirdos!

Why do they call and leave NO message AND hang up if you do answer? I am at work and dont need their calls

received a call from them as soon i answered and ask who they were as they said it so fast in the greetings, the lady on the other end was too stupid to hang up, well wasted my time to reach the phone to answer it. Why do they call don't they have anything better to do than sitting around and calling people

calls a couple of times a week on my home phone and on my work phone.  Hangs up each time.  Today I got a call on my work phone and heard a mans voice and he hung up anyway.  You would think if he was trying to sell me something he would have talked to me?

The correct phone number for jam enterprises is 417-447-2295.  I spoke with them today and they took my name off of their list.

They have been calling daily for about a week and I have not answere.  When my answering machine picked up, they would hang up.  Today I decided to answer it and the guy on the other end just said "wrong number" and that was it. WTF?

They call my office ALL the time asking for whoever handles employee benefits. He said he works for Liberty National and will be in my area and would like to drop off information. I told him he would have to leave his number and we would get back with him to make an appointment. Would not leave a number.

Same here. Lady hung up. I think next time they call, I will answer, "hello MF". Only I will spell it out in the old fashion english language. Maybe they will try to sue. LOL!  After all this is LA. I'ld like to see them get blood out of a turnip. But main thing is maybe they will get the HINT!

Keep calling at least daily and don't let the phon ring long enough for me to pick up.  Never leave a message. VERY annoying!!!!!!!!

Recognized the name when they called here (office).  Picked up receiver, immediately hung up.  I don't have time for their garbage.

They haven't called in a while. Just called again and the call was of course ignored.

sigh! they calling again with the same bs story of having someone in our area.  Told him not interested. he kept being pushy and persistent on speaking to someone or getting a name. Not happening buddy.  How many flipping ways does no means no.  We dont want whatever it is your selling.  He claimed he already talked to someone there just needed to drop off the info.  well why in da heck are you calling if you talked to someone already.  uh lets see cause you didnt!! i ended up hanging up on him because he didnt listen or care to listen to what i had to say.

I get these kinds of calls pretty regularly.  Just got the first one today from "JAM Enterprises".  She wanted to speak to someone re: employee health services or something like that.  I offered to put her into the office managers vm, but she declined and said she would call back.  I have gotten to where I can hear the sound of a call center, so I googled the number that came up which is 417-447-2484.  417 is a Springfield MO area code, and I noticed in the posts here they have identified themselves as several different companies.  Including one from Des Moines.  I have added this call to my list of pick up and hang up.  No time for this and I have found with other problem scams like this they stop after awhile.  Even if they are legit, they are obviously practicing abusive and unprossional sales tactics, and I won't let them waste our time and energy.  Glad we have these boards to protect each other from these types of callers.

Many calls from this number and also 417.447.2486 and 417.447.2295. They usually say it's JAM Enterprises. This time the man said it was Liberty Insurance, and he was trying to sell benefits. This called was handled in a manner which resulted in the caller receiving no satisfaction.

They called again. Stopped answering these calls two years ago.

The called saying something about marketing our business. Well the lady asked how many employees
did we have and I told her nicely that that was confidential.... she wanted a manager well too bad I am the manager/secretary/admin. and etc. so when I told her your are speaking to her she asked again and told her sorry it is confidential and she said well I guess we will call later. Ummm she is stupid because I am the only one in the office that picks of the phone the president never picks ups so she is getting no where lol

ALWAYS ANSWER THESE TYPES OF CALLS - THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR COMPLETED CALL.  KEEP THEM TALKING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE WITH FAKE INFO SO THEY HAVE TO PAY MORE.

The owners name is Jeff and Agnes Miller. He actually works for Liberty national Insurance. They do not care about following the DNC. Liberty national contact person is Dave Kubes or Andy King. Let Liberty Know what their 3rd party vendor is doing. Liberty does not know.

Male caller from this number asked to speak w/ my boss.  When told he was not available, the man asked for my boss's cell #.  He was quite genial, however I asked him to identify himself, b/c boss-man only gives out his cell # to certain people (I have a list in my desk), and they rarely lose it.  He identified himself as "Mike" with "FMS".  When asked what that stood for, he hung up in my ear.  Oh, well.  At least he talked first!

Probably wouldn't have gotten past me anyway, if he's not willing to disclose the name of his business & purpose of the call.  Why waste the boss's time when you can waste mine? :-P

NOT AGAIN! This company called us several times a day about a year ago. I asked then to be put on their do not call list, now they have started up again! Everytime they call they says they are going to have a rep in our area and want to drop off information about healthcare benefits. We have told them they can drop off the information but can not speak to someone without an appointment, but they refuse to make an appointment. DROP OFF THE D @MN PAPERWORK ALREADY AND QUIT CALLING!

So far, the first time they've called.  They left no message.  Thanks for all the info from everyone on here.  If they keep it up, I guess I'll call Agnes.  Oh, yea.  I'm on the DNR.  They try to get around the DNR by hanging up & getting you to call back.  Call Agnes instead.

yep - just got a call and I'm also on a do not call list...they identified themselves as "Harrison Enterprises" trying to sell health insurance.
