call came in from this # left a message to call 800 978 4586 which i looked up and dicovered was a scam for credit card debt relief

Got a call to my Google Voice number, which transcribed the message as follows:

Hey this is Kelly again, Just checking in to see if you've gotten the letters from your credit card companies talking about increasing your minimum payment for your interest rate and I wanted to follow up with you about that program with a non, profit, or we can lock in rates as low as 1.9% and possibly get those minimum payments and a half, or, Yeah, but I do need to talk to you soon about that. So give me a call at 1(800) 978-4586 and ask for Kelly. It's again. That number is at 1(800) 978-4586 and I hope to hear from you soon.

Got the call on my cell but at least they didn't waste my time with a message. Thanks for hosting this site!

Didn't answer the phone.  Haven't checked messages as that uses my anytime minutes as well.  Nervous and hanging up sounds like a wrong number or he KNEW he was in violation of the the DO NOT call regs.

received a call10:27 am a young man said Hello seemed a little nervous and paused i said How may i help you and he hung up. thank you for your remarks on this caller. I am in Northeast Texas.

received call from this number. Roommate answered, and received no answer to her "hello." Called my dorm room

I got a call about 6 hours ago from this number. "Kelly" left a message telling me to call the 800 number and talking about credit card payments and interest rates and stuff. Acted as if she were returning a call or something, but I just got this phone number and haven't even given it out to all my friends yet.

was called this morning on cell phone.  Message left to call 1-800-978-4586 ask for Kelly. this is despite having the cell phone on the cell phone no call list.

Got the call today in the morning (from (417) 659-8824)
Voice mail asked me to call back to 1(800) 978-4586, what i did, i asked what company is that. They told me the name is "Debt relief", I asked what state they are from, they told me its nation wide :)
Anyways its a scam, they not on google  and they cant tell me how they got my number. Anyways, i tried calling 417 659 8824, nobody picks up.

I got this phone call as well, didnt answer it but when I tried to call back it told me the call couldnt be completed as dialed.  Looks like i was lucky enough not to answer!

I'm glad im not the only one i thought i didnt pay a bill! I got a call from this number for the second time in 2 days! Yesturday they left me a voicemail saying to call that 800 # for some urgant message. I think they've been calling my home # too cause my dad keeps getting messages from a similar recording. How do you stop them from calling you?

Just got the call on my cell phone. A woman called "Michelle" answered the phone.

She seemed like a young women around 30ish, don't these workers know they're scamming people???

Just got a call on my minor sons cell phone, i pushed the number to speak to a customer service rep and politely asked to have the number removed as the phone belonged to a minor. The jerk hung up on me. Checked the cell phone history and this company has called 12 times this week alone. I want to know who it is so I can file a complaint

I just got a call from this number. They are trying to sell credit card BS.

I gave them a round about for 10 minutes, and just played along until I told the operator to jump off a bridge, but only after he removed me from the list.

I'm not home to know if they called my land line but did call my cell! The male recorded voice identified himself as Rick Johnson and apologized he hadnt gotten back to me sooner... something about credit card ... press one to talk to the person.

Just got a voice mail from that number. Joplin, MO.
Claiming she was calling back about locking in credit card rates. I've never received a call from this number before. Sounded like a recording that's played if someone doesn't answer. I wouldn't pick up.

Just got the call a minute ago. I didn't answer since i didn't recognize the number. Illinois.

This number just called my cell at 4:05 pm. I let it go to voice mail, but the number didn't leave a message. I haven't tried calling back, and I most likely will not.

Just got the call 3:03 PM CST. Answered it, and it also had the "press 1 now" message.

Just got a call at 2:30 on my cell in North Carolina. No message.

Just received a call in Moscow, Idaho at 12:31 Pacific Time.  I did not answer because I did not recognize the number.

Just got a call from this number on my cell.Irritating..

So annoying, I got a call from a random area code and thought "crap, did I forget to pay a bill?"  I didn't want to answer because somehow my number seems to get these spam calls where I will answer and then it tells me to wait while they connect me to a teller or whatever, and I find that so lazy and insulting, as a practice bad business ethics, so when that happens, even if the wait is so short I don't have time to hang up before they say "hello" I still hang up.  But then I checked my voicemail and it was the same previously reported man who sounds slightly confused and muffles and then follows up with a "hello" and then the message just ended a few seconds later.  What the hell is this?  I am in Berkeley California, anyone else?  the weird closeness of the time between our calls and the same strange man creeps me out.  Who possesses our numbers and why do they think it's okay to treat our phones this way and waste our time with advertisements as ill conceived as a casino in Vegas during a power outage?

If I change my number, will it get better or worse?  I've had the same cell number for almost ten years.

got the call on my cell phone at 1pm est.  I let it go to vm.  Message said I should call about lowering my cc rates.  I hate that I'm getting these calls.  I even get them in spanish.
