Just got the same "Becky" message, only her name was "Janet." They left me an 877 number to call back by 4:30. No idea where they got my cell phone number from!

The same thing happened to me. And i've been getting calls from another 423-317 number once a day every day except sundays.

Got a call from this number while I was leaving a msg on my friend's cell. Since the number popped up thought it might be a friend on a different phone. Called it back and it was no longer in service. VERY ODD!

Just got a call from them asking for "Angie". No Angie here... Also got calls from 877-363-9666 and 978-570-2445 around the same times asking for Angie.

Recieved a call from this number they were saying that I won a $1000 shopping spree.But when I was talking to them they were trying to set me up on a magazine subcribtion.So basically I would have to subcribe to these magazine in order to qualify for the $1000 shopping spree.I dont feel comfortable giving my card info to companies that I never heard of.This is America and everybody knows that nothing is free in this world nothing.

My aunt got a call from this number and they told her she was a preferred customer through her bank and they wanted her age and occupation...telling her she has also won a shopping spree, pronouncing her name all wrong... Why do people do this???

Just got a call from this number and they left a message saying good new i won a $1000 shopping spree bad new I did not answer and to call them back.  Hope people do not fall for this crap...

I just received a call.  They asked for me and then hung up.  I called back and they answered the phone"customer service".  I asked who they were customer service for?  They answered a publishing company.  I asked why they were calling me and they said they didnt know.  I then asked if she was stupid.  Well that set her off!  Hahaha.... I told her to FO and never call me again.  Then I spent the next hour calling them over and over again asking for their credit card#.

same as everything above and I've been getting them from florida but... how the hell do they know your name and how did they get the number...

Same exact number. I LOVE this site because as soon as my girlfriend heard about them trying to sell magazines she was like, "No, I'm going to decline the offer". They have our address and my CELL number, which as stated in earlier posts is a red flag. So, I typed in the number into a google search and low and behold, this site already had them.

Again, DO NOT give them info.

I was a telemarketer for four months, and these guys sound more like people trying to rob your credit cards rather than sell you things. One thing's for sure, they're NOT about to give you a shopping spree.

yeah i got a call on my cell yesterday afternoon and they said i had won a 1000 dollar shopping spree and asked for my card # so i hung up. they have called 6 times in the past week. When i called back to see if it would go through it said their company was out of buisness.

called and left a message on my CELL phone saying i visited some website.. 1st red flag...which i never heard of..and i won a 1000 online shopping spree...and they needed my address to mail it to me...they also generously left me an 800 # to call back..first clue was...if i won an online shopping spree...what the hell do you need to mail to me then???..2nd red flag..so needless to say with those two red flags I never called back...

i'm young and stupid and fell for this -_-
they said i won a $1000 shopping spree and to credit it to my account i had to give them my account #. i was hesitant, but they said that without the security code they couldn't do anything so i gave it to them. once i hung up with them i realized i was stupid =p lol, so i checked my account and they had already taken $40 out of it. i cancelled my card right away and am going to the bank in the morning to get the money back.

called me all hours of the day for a week.
didnt recognize number and they left me a voice mail today.

"hello -my name-, this is megan with your publisher service the good news is you were selected to recieved our $500 dollar shopping spree. the bad news is i didnt get to talk to you. so give me a call back 423-272-0458. ask for megan and i'll get this out to ya!"

i googled the number and came here.
dont answer the phone?! or give out any information!

Was told that it was my "publishing company" and I would receive a $500 shopping card if I called back. Left 423-586-1824 as callback #. figured it was spam, so I went to the internet and ended up here. don't call these ppl back!

Number keeps calling. When I pick up there is no answer

This is a solicitation/marketing call that I do not wish to receive.

Getting calls from this number all hours of the day and night. I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. They are not leaving messages so I was just trying to find a company name.

I just got a call from them saying that I won a $500 dollar shopping spree. They said that they received my name and number from my bank. When they asked for a card number I hung up.

Well they just got me about two minutes ago and i just checked my bank account and they have already taken out $1. and something cents. I have already contacted my bank so that this payment or whatever is stopped. Please if you have given them your information, please change your card number.

the women i talked to claimed to represent a company called (mountain area communication) and that they were located in tennessee and that i won a 500.00 shopping spree and how unbelievable but true.and that it was no strings attached.but of course when i was transfered to the veteran who tried to slowly coach me out of my card number after getting me to first confirm name on card, my ex date and then my logo visa/mast and finally they started on the number and thats when i ended the call.

they immediately call back and i sent it to voice mail and there was silence and then i could hear voices and then call disconnected.

they also gave me a number to call them back 1866 900 2719

calls over and over and leaves no message.

same here - this # calls me several times per day, but the number is not is service......weird.
