Call all of the time....do not leave message.  Called one morning at 8:45 a.m.....this illegal.  Their allowed call hours are from 9 to 9 daily.  I do not owe anything to anyone so they are wasting their money calling me.  Number one, do not "answer" any questions, instead, ask, who's calling, if you do answer the phone.  Do not give any information about yourself, an ex or anyone else.  They are trying, apparently to intimidate people into paying bills that do not exist.  I keep a very loud whistle next to my phone so if I should ever answer, there will only be one rude word before they lose their hearing!

like everyone else said got very rude especially when I asked Patty her full name and what CBET letters stand for would not tell me and hung up .hmmmmm

What practices are off limits for debt collectors?
Harassment. Debt collectors may not harass, oppress, or abuse you or any third parties they contact. For example, they may not:
   use threats of violence or harm;
   publish a list of names of people who refuse to pay their debts (but they can give this information to the credit reporting companies);
   use obscene or profane language; or
   repeatedly use the phone to annoy someone.

I have been getting calls from these people. I have been making payments online each month towards our bill. We have several  hospital bills due to my surgery and my husbands kidney problems that we are trying to pay off and everybody wants their money right now. I have explained to them several times that I don't have the money to pay the bill off in the time period they have requested. So I pay every month online. They still call me and tell me they can't accept anything less than the amount they have requested. They have never been rude or abusive , they just say they can't accept the amount.Each time I tell them I can't commit monthly to the amount they want. So I pay what I can on the bill each month and wait for the letter to come saying they have filed a lawsuit against us. A person can only do what they can do. I have been sick for several years and my husbands work has dropped down to 24 hours a week or less.  He is 57 years old, has some health issues and he just can't work 60-70 hours a week anymore like most companies in his field want. So it's either part-time or 7 days a week 12 hours a day. So we do the best we can and pay what we can and pray for the best.

This company calls and lets it ring twice.They never leave a message. I finally called back and spoke with someone named Phyllis. She said she couldn't tell me who was calling but requested personal information from me. When I refused to give it to her she told me "well we'll just keep calling." I said "That's great, go right ahead and hung up. I understand they may be a debt collector but I feel uncomfortable giving person information to someone who wont even give me the name of the company for whom they are working.

This place is actually called Tri County Collection Agency & located in Morristown, TN - and yes very rude awful people!!!

These con artists call me frequently claiming I owe a bill for my cardiologist that says I am paid in full.  When this did not work they claim I owed money to a hospital that I have never received any service from.  I believe they have some people from medical establishments that give them names and addresses for which they make phoney claims for payment.

I plan to notify the attorney Generals office to see if they can be charged with fraud.

Yeah the next time this number calls me I'm going to get an air horn or a whistle and blow it into my phone.

I keep getting hang-up calls (they hang up after the first ring)  from this number on my Office direct extension. I called them back to find out WHO they are trying to contact and they hung up on me when I asked who they were attempting to contact. I called 6 more times and as soon as the automated system switched me to a 'Customer service Rep' they hung up.  I have had calls 'looking for other people' before - thought this may be the case this time. If it is, they need to say so! Not just hang up the dang phone! ***Their Automated system gives that little spiel about 'this is an attempt to collect a debt'.

Calls and leaves no message. Think I will record and call back.

Some lady called me from this number demanding my date of birth before she would tell me who she was so I refuse to give out my info.. very rude even told me she didn't have time to play games with me, hello it is my info your fishing for so I just hung up on her and blocked the number.

this company and or person s do not leave a message nor do they answer when called back they let it go into what is stated a general message box or message center. the only time they call back is to harrass a person and or continuely harrass someone

So Bill or Harold why do you call and hang up or call and let it ring a few times and hang up? When your called back your very rude why is that?

Someone from this number called my house today looking for a neighbor who passed away over a year ago.  She misrepresented herself by saying she was calling about a personal matter, but she wouldn't give me her entire name.

called ask for my son. Said she was a personal friend. Wouldn't give any other info said her name was phyliss.

Called asking for my wife. Told them she no longer lives here. Wanted to know if we were divorced, and I told her not yet. She stated she was trying to collect for a hospital bill my wife had failed to pay. I told her she had moved to another state, and she hung up. I called the hospital finance office. They stated there was no money owed to them from my wife. There was another woman with the same name but different date of birth. She faxed me a statement saying my wife owed them nothing. Can't wait for them to call back.

They call 2-3 times an hour but never leave a message

Carol kept calling and harassing me and when I agreed to make arrangements to pay $25 a month she would not accept it and took my husband and I to court. So then we had to pay court cost and everything. I think if they don't accept what you can pay and take yoou to court then they should have to pay court cost. Our payment is due the 26th of each month and we didn't have it to pay this month and offered to pay $50 more on the 7th of next month and I was told if it wasn't paid by the end of the month it would be sent for garnishment. Why can they not wait a few extra days for the money? They are the ones who have the say so. They need to learn pepole skills and how to deal with the public or just go out of business.

Same here calls and says it's Mr.s Baker but never tells what she wants.

Collection Agency, pushy, threatening, and hateful. Beware they are on the verge of violating civil rights so if you can record the call. They also call multiple times a day up to 2-3 times an hour.

Its actually a collection agency, mostly they try to collect on medical bills, but they are very rude most of the time and I do not think they are a real agency.

A woman that called herself Ms. Baker called here to leave a message. Talk about being rude.I wouldn't leave any message from someone like her. Did not say who or where she was calling from. Just rude, so don't answer the phone if you see that number.

I recieved a call from them to collect a debt for a hospital bill on my son.  I explained that my son had never been to that hospital and she suggested that it might be from a physician that is contracted with the hospital.  I said okay and asked who is the physician listed.  She said, in an exasperated tone, there is not physician listed, it is for the facility.  So I advised her that I had already told her my son had never been there and she told me I needed to calm down.  I said fine and disconnected the call.  That calmed me down pretty well.

I was in the shower getting ready for work when they called me.  My 9 year old picked up and the A** Hole on the other end told her that if mommy didn't pay the bill, the police would kick in our door and drag her away.  She refused to go to school she was so scared, and I had to miss a day of work.  I hope they are proud of their services, and since you bullied a 9 year old girl, I am really impressed.

Tri-County Collection Agency, located in Morristown, TN. Dealing mostly with medical bills. They are VERY rude and NO NOT ever want to give out who they are.

After many harassing calls from them, I did my own P.I. work and found out who they are. Spread the word and let their secret out!!!!

They call me all the time, the way I see it if the hospital wants 700.00 from me they should do more then look at my tooth that was giving me a problem and prescribe me with pain pills that don't even take the pain away.
