Yes, DRS, their website https://www.dbtsolutions.com/ http://www.linkedin.com/company/debt-recover-solutions BBB report, check Additional Comments http://www.bbb.org/NYC/business-reviews/colle ... tbury-ny-72600/ other complaints http://www.consumeraffairs.com/debt/debt_recovery_solutions.html http://www.linkedin.com/pub/elliot-schwartz/7a/276/a45 wonder what debt collection networks they fall under, NCO Group, Convergys, Convergent, PRA, MCM, CAB?
If we could get a dozen or so people to do this, we could totally tie up their phone system. HAHAHAHA
Hey thanks for this info... IT WORKS! I have a speaker phone and put it on mute then call them. I enjoy being able to tie up their lines with a silent call for a change. So far I have heard 10 different boiler room agents answer and drop, then it goes back into the queue for another one to pick it up. HAHAHAHA!
Great suggestion! Works like a charm - wish I had thought of this earlier. Thanks.
I have a LG800G Tracfone and i don't have to block a number. These people have many numbers they can use. If you are not in my contacts my phone does not even ring and i never setup my voice mail so callers get nothing but a, "this person has not setup their voice mail, goodbye".
BTW, my phone service costs about $7.00 a month. Best phone i ever owned.
I have an iPhone. How do I block unwanted calls. I'm writing this on the Samsung I just upgraded to & want my iPhone back.
Calling for Sheila Rocca???
I really tried to understand the name whom the debt collector was looking for because she talked so fast. By the way it's in the voice mailbox. How could I hung you up if I'm not the right person when I wasn't home when you called?
The left a message saying they "had a matter to discuss" and ordered an unnamed person to call back. Given I don't owe any debts, and given no one owes me a debt, I have no used for their service.
If we all report them to the FCC they will go away.
The person who had my phone number before me did not pay their bills. I've gotten many collectors off my back by registering complaints with the FCC.
Dang! Thanks for posting that. I've had an iPhone for years and didn't know I could block crap calls like this. ... You made my day! :-)
These people call every day asking for someone who does not live here, has never lived here, and whom I do not know. I am sick of being bothered by them. They are trying to collect a debt from someone else. Surely, there's legal recourse against a company that harassed a person without a reason.
Calls all the time and late at night three timrs s day I just don't answer.
Hi -- received 2 calls today with a hang-up each time. I called back and was told it was Debt Recovery Services. I asked to be removed from their call list. They claim I'm not on the call list. I explained I did not want their services and he rudely said "how do you know?" I hung up on him. Waste of people's time...mine and the person working that job who could be learning a useful skill.
You're an idiot
LOL...You're an idiot!
These people keep asking for William Flynn .
Their is no such thing as DRS.
AKA I call them prank callers.
DRS TECH OR WHAT??
Harrasss the Collector
Sue these people that's what you can do. Google the Michael Mirras System or go to ruleoflawradio.com and order his course there. Debt collectors are always violating Federal civil rights. Sue them and take their money for a change. He has won 6 federal court cases against debt collectors.
They keep calling me asking for someone I don't even know.
Debt Recovery Solutions, Robert Miller. Pre-recorded message. Said it is regarding a "business matter" and that they are debt collectors.
there is absolutely no reason an 8-- number should call me but they do, I look it up and I'm never sorry I
Drs. Technology has been calling our number for over a year, mostly twice a day. I answered once and they asked for someone I never heard of and then said "If this call is not for you, call a certain number and your name will be taken off the list. I was not about to call a number! Why can't somethng be done about these annoying calls? They should not be allowed to interrupt so many lives.
They keep calling - been two months of non stop calling almost every weekday. ENOUGH.
they keep calling asking for people that don't live here and wanting social security numbers.
calls couple times per week and a recorded tap ask for Alexander, and then asks if you are not Alexander hang up
My sister got a call from this number on her cell phone, the call such as the other comments indicate,is a recorded message saying if u are this person press 1 if not hang up or whatever it might say.
The name given was Robert Miller from a law firm? Giving a name makes them more "trustworthy" and if they are somehow involved witht he "law" oh boy u better return the call!i belive that is what they might think
I immediately thought it was very odd bcuz of a few very brow raising detai..............Its a 1800 number, using a recording...why would a law firm do business this way?
She thought I should call in,but in my job I am exposed too sooo many fraud cases and there was no way I was going to wind them up like a wind upp toy so they can keep bothering us.
I figure if no one answers or calls back, they will eventually back off? but after reading these experiences,im getting concerned that might not be the case..
I just never answer any number I do not know.Im not expecting an important call.Im not applying for employment or anything that might have to call me from an unknown number so I just dont bother answering.Even if I was,i figure if its important or from a legit company or real person they will forcelly need to leave a voicemail.Which I do return immediately.I still get calls from the same numbers but hey im not gonna make their jobs any easier.
We figured they called her bcuz shes had her # for many years.I mean thats as much sense as I can make of that because I just dont give her number with my name.
I just think we should all play it safe and not answer at the very least any 1800 # at the very least. That can only mean trouble!
I have an iPhone... I simply choose the "block caller" option... it works... try it...

Debt collector calling to attempt a debt for someone else. Warning for no one else to listen since it contains private information and for anyone else to hang up. They are idiots and crooks, whoever it is. Not me!!
Follow up: I found out who they are. DEBT RECOVERY SYSTEMS. 900 Merchants Concourse Suite LL-11, Westbury NY 11590. They also use another number 516-229-4802. All States have a Statute of Limitations. Which means a debt can't be collected beyond that time -some States are 5 yrs some 7 and 10 yrs. This is where you file a complaint with the Federal Government FTC----- https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1 You can send a "Drop Dead Letter" to the company. A sample of it is on Clark Howard's website -call his number to get further info/listen to
his show or go online. He has people that can help you.
Looking for someone who does not live here. The Caller ID is spoofed with an incorrect Identification. Call blocked them using OOMA to give disconnected signal. I called back and the guy did not identify himself nor under specific request to identify the company and himself he said "just a minute" then hang up. Try to invest in the OOMA TELO system -I have used it for 3 yrs and NO Problems. They can call once and then I have them blocked. HaHA HA!!@! My phone is quite until they change calling numbers. The caller ID is DRS Technology which is shown as a defense contractor LIARS THEY ARE. Likely scavenger debt collectors. They are actually Debt Recovery Solutions. Please file a complaint with the Federal Govt for violations of the Debt Collections Act a Federal Law.
