This number is Chattanooga Times Free Press 4237586765...I am on the do not call list and have told them to stop calling That I am not interested in their product.They will stop for a day or so then start calling again.I have talked to them several times and told them stop calling but then they will call and if I answer they hang up..

Ive been getting calls from this number for two days now mornings and late after noons  my caller id says pub chattanooga. When i answered today i heard a beep then nothing i said hello still nothing then theybjust hung up.

They constantly call me too.  This totally considered harassment.  If anybody on here wants to take these people to court, you can. I sent them an email telling them to stop or I will take them to court. They are breaking the law according to Tennessee Code Annotated § 39-17-308(a)(2), which defines harassment. What they are doing can be considered a Class A misdemeanor and can be punished by up to a year in jail and up to $2,500. All you have to do is contact the Hamilton County Criminal Court and fill out a summons for Chattanooga Times Free Press.

This number calls me EVERY SINGLE DAY, and when I say, "Hello, hello, hello"........no one ever answers. When I try calling the number back, all I get is a prerecorded message saying the "mail box is full." I have no clue who they are, why they call me every day, and I have no idea how to tell them to STOP. If I let the phone ring without answering it, they never leave me a voice mail message. I am beyond annoyed with these people.

Chattanooga Times Free Press has an automated dialing and voice response system.  If a call is not answered after 4 rings, the system hangs up.  If a call is answered before the 4th ring, the automated system pauses for a several seconds and then goes in to it's prerecorded sales pitch.  During that pause it sounds like the caller has hung up.

The National Do Not Call Registry does not apply to local businesses and non-profit organizations.

I appreciate the help!!  My husband has been getting these repeatedly calls from (423) 757-6586 & they also have been hanging up on him.  However, when he called the # back, no one would answer.  He left a couple of messages in the generic voicemail box to which no one ever responded.  We are on the do not call list too, & now we know who to hold accountable.  My husband is calling them.  His guess is that their sales people are getting paid per call or something.

This number is from the Chattanooga Times Free Press. I just thought I would let everyone know who has been wondering. They keep calling me too, and I have no idea why. I have tried to be polite and just hang up, hoping they would get the hint and figure out that I don't want to buy anything from them. I am also on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST, so I am really confused as to why they are still continuously calling me every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Its very frustrating for me to be busy doing something important, hear my phone ring, drop everything to go see who it is thinking it might be an emergency call or something important, only to find out its just once again the Chattanooga times free press trying to sell me their newspaper. I have email Chattanooga times free press and asked them to stop calling me, as I do not want to buy their newspaper. If I wanted to buy the Chattanooga Times Free Press newspaper or any newspaper for that matter, I would buy a subscription and sign up.

The number is 423-757-6586 and they are just trying to sell you something. So if you get a call from this number, now you know who is calling.

This is the Chattanooga Times Free Press newspaper call center calling to promote subscriptions. It is very annoying as they frequently call on cell phones and you cannot stop these calls.  My suggestion is that if you have caller I.D. on your cell phone, program this number to come up "DO NOT ANSWER."
