RUDE guy called from this number asking for my boss. Asked for him my his 1st name.  I said "May I ask who's calling?" He said Dan. I asked if he had a last name and he turned very irate as said "Is he available or not?!" I asked him if he was needing a roof repair (as that's what our company does) and he said no that he just had to speak with my boss. I put him on hold. He hung up. Like my boss would do business with a jerk like this?

I get this call at least once a week. And today was the last straw. I called Big State Ind. and told them to take my name off there list. That these calls are a waste of my time and that the person it is rude and disrespectful. We will see what happens!

Called now two days ago to wife's cell phone...asking for me. Then he yells at her when she said to him that he called yesterday.

We keep getting these calls too!  We assume they are calling to collect bills from the previous owner of our phone number since we regularly get bill collection calls for them.  We always say "that person is not at this number.  Please remove this number from your call list".  The are extremely rude and constantly call back.  One even said my coworker will call back again next shift.  I've tried to call the number back and it says it's disconnected.  I'm not sure how they are getting the number below to appear on the caller ID but that is not the number they are calling from.  Scam artist a**holes!

Same here!  I told a man who called me from this number that I would take a message and pass it on to the owner, he kept insisting that I give him the owner's telephone number.  He said his name was "Ronathan White?"  or something with Big State Industrial.  
I said I'd be happy to take a message, then I asked what the call was regarding... he hung up.

Called and asked for our owner by first name.  Told him that he wasn't in & that I'd be happy to relay a message.  He said great, tell him that Dave with Mile High Contracting & Electrical called then proceeded to ask for the owners "other" number.  Asked which number he was referring to & he said his mobile number.  I explained that I would be happy to take down his number & have our owner call him back.  He replied that the only number he could be reached at is his wife's mobile number & that he wasn't inclined to give that number out.  Told him that I understood completely & that I, likewise, am not inclined to give out our owners mobile number.  To that he replied, well that's fine if you want to call my wife & asked if I had a pencil to take down the number.  Told him I did & he asked if I was ready then slammed the phone down.

Called number back went to no longer in servicve

*groan* Another one. "Yeah, hi. Is Bill around?" from a number 600 miles from our local shop. Would you like to leave a message? Which any legitimate caller would do. "No, I'll just try back later."

Well, okay. But just FYI, you're going to go to voicemail; I'm ignoring your number from now on.
