Guy called our business wanting to speak with the person that handles the advertising. When I gave him the cold shoulder he got sarcastic with me and hung up. Like nobody ever lies to solicitors? STOP CALLING!

Here's the thing...how do these companies/people make money if all they do is hang up or not answer which seems to be the case over and over- so many of them...

Called and claimed that there was a bad connection and would call right back.  Did not call back.  Line was very clear.  As mentioned, looks like they're harvesting numbers with live pick-ups.

Here is what is happening, this is a 'drone' call so to speak.  If you answer the call, then you, more importantly your phone number is flagged as a number that is answered.   This information (your Phone number) is sold to telemarketers who by phone numbers that are answered live.  There should be a law against this, or at a minimum, the ability to push a button on your phone which charges the caller a dime, quarter that reduces you phone bill.  Yes that's is what we need.

Typycal  SEO scammers.

I received phone call from 424-234-1291 and got my voice mail, but no voice mail. I am on Do not call list !!!!

I answered the call on the first ring. No one on the other line.  After saying "hello" five times, I hung up. Why would someone go through the trouble of making a call and not talk.  Waste of time for me and them.

They are a web marketing company. I called and someone answered after receiving a call/hangup.

Called the number back... they are a marketing company helping with SEO and google ad words.  Told them to stop calling me.

I don't have that complaint. I have had my voicemail turned off for a long time now so that none of these un-named callers can even try to leave a message. I see no name so I don't answer. I like the game of hide and seek. I don't want to buy un-solicited products, nor to be told I owe anyone something when I have paid all my bills with money orders (to have proof of payment) and have no credit on my home, cars or anything else. The economy we live in should teach people to keep records and don't use your credit unless you have no other recourse.

Why does everyone say the same thing? "missed a call no voicemail"... this is absolutely no help whatsoever... you're better off just not posting anything rather than having to filter through 100 posts of the same obvious thing...this number is robo dialed and their looking to "speak to the person that handles the company website" which is clearly a company that did absolutely no research on our business, product, service, goals, marketing needs, prospects, etc. and for them to think we would even remotely consider doing business with such a half-a** company is hilarious. I just tell them "No and do not call here again"

I returned the call and was told they had dialed the wrong number. I asked the name of their company and was told it was http://www.180fusion.com/.

Received a few calls from this number, but they never left a voicemail

Got a call, I answered, call disconnected.

I get a call every other day from this  number. They never leave a message. They never say anything when I answer. I am on a do not call list and this is really annoying.

I get 3-4 calls a week from this number. Always at 10:25 in the morning. Always hang ups. I think its an auto dialer.

This number called and hung up before I was able to answer. The call came to my business line, so I called the number back and was greeted with "Your call is very important to us. Please hold while we transfer you to the next available agent." Then I was greeted by a woman. I explained that I got a call on my business line and we got disconnected. She said they were a full-scale online marketing company. I politely requested to have our number removed from their calling list. She agreed and then I terminated the call.

My conclusion: Cold calling, looking for businesses to invest in their "services".

called, rang twice, I picked up the call and said hello, but no one answered.  I said hello several more times but still no answer, then the call disconnected.  I called back and heard a noise like a water droplet, then the phone was picked up.  I said that I had missed a call from that number, and he said that it was a wrong number, that he was trying to get ahold of a friend of his.  I asked what number he had dialed, and he said 'no, it was a wrong number, a misdial, bye' and hung up.  Voice was of a male in his thirties or so, heard noises in the background, may have been a tv, or may have been other people talking on the phone (like a call center).

Call went to voicemail, no message left, but I thought I heard a television in the background noise.
