Still getting calls from this Fraternal Cop scam. Let's defund the FTC's Do Not Call Department and terminate all Do Not Call employees by the end of next year. What a WASTE of our tax dollars!!!

I am sick of these calls.  for months I was getting a call from 424-732-3444 day and not and it makes me crazy.  I finally got this this number so now they changed the last four digits and they are calling a new number.  There is not way to block them they will keep changing the number every time you block one.  I am at my wits end I don't know what else to do.

Just received the sixth call from the "Fraternal Order" scammers. We are blocking EVERY number in the 424 area code as every call we have received from 424 has been from this fake outfit.

The Call Log for my VoIP telephone provider shows 6 calls from this number AT THE SAME TIME!

This means 6 of my 300 monthly free minutes were burned up by a mis-programmed robo-dialer.  This is actually not the first time this has happened; this number is going on the Block list as soon as I finish typing this.

They have called twice this week.  I hung up.  Second time I didn't answer.  I contacted the head of this order last year about their calling.  I told him that hiring a 3rd party who takes a cut is an organization I will NEVER give any $$ too.  If everyone took that attitude, we could put 3rd party solicitors out of business.  Give to charities you have researched and give LOCAL.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

This says it is a LABOR UNION, not a charity. As such they have NO immunity from the Telephone Consumer Protection Act as a charity.

For the record -- I just now received my fourth call from this "Fraternal Order of Police" (which I think is highly unlikely -- probably just a scammer posing as a genuine charity). This time, I answered. I had to interrupt the human drone three times to get a word in edgewise. I told him to stop calling me. He said he would put my name on their DNC list.

Yes, even charities have to honor those once you ask -- they don't get a free ride in perpetuity.

If this one calls again, I will do my best to find a physical location for them, then send a bill, then when they inevitably stonewall, sue. That's how it's DONE, momma...

Fraternal order of Police Lodge!

I do not answer any calls unless I recognize the caller - but my husband picked this one up while I was out.  Yes, he claimed to be calling for some police organization so my husband just hung up on him since we have been told that police do NOT solicit by phone.  In any event, why would they be calling us in Northern California if it's a Beverly Hills area organization.  All we ever get these days are scam calls - time to cancel our land line!

I just got the same message, in the middle of so called recording it cut off. This number has called off and on for the past month or two. Other times when I have answered the phone all I got was dead air. The caller said this call was being recorded I think he knew he screwed up. I know its a scam. The caller ID said Inglewood ca.

Sounded like a recording; claimed to be from the "Fraternal Order of Police."  I don't THINK any legitimate police organization would call a number on the DNC list to play a recorded message, so I'm pretty sure this is a scam.
