That's what mine was for. The woman on the other line was saying that I had won a contest I had entered a month or two before. It didn't sound like a scam to me although it could possibly be one.

"Michelle" let me know she got my number from the wedding expo where I had entered a drawing.  She let me know my partner and I had won a free trip to one of several locations in the US, we just had to show up to their office in Tukwila and listen to a presentation... and by the way did my partner and I made above or below x amount of money?... and once I get to the office in Tukwila I would need to show them my ID and a credit card... actually two forms of identification, preferably credit cards, you have those right?... bs like that.
Go ahead and look up the business, Vacation Internationale (the "e" at the end makes it extra fancy!) read up on all their Yelp, Google, and whatever other reviews they have, these people are a complete scam.

Received call claiming I had won 2 free air tickets for 3 days almost anywhere! just wanted $100 and my credit card number!
are people really still giving out info like that to strangers over the phone? I hope not.

425-274-9188 keeps calling my cell.    never leaves a message and I REFUSE to answer.     WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS????   GGGRRRR.  I added it to my reject list tonight, however.   Just let them try again!!!

These people Melissa, Rachel, & Rusty call me & ask if I remember trying to win a drawing for a skidoo.  Now I have won 2 round trip tickets to several US city's of my choice.  All I have to do is come in to their office (In Bellevue, Wa) give them two piece's of ID & a credit card.
 When I said, I don't believe in credit cards, he asks "Well are you in a relationship with a man who has a credit card?"
 That's when I said, This conversation is over & hung up.
I finally got smart & when I fill out a drawing that is probably just a ploy to phish my information, I now give them as my alternate phone the FBI's #.  That saves me time in reporting these white collar fraud crimes to my good friends at the FBI.

This phone number called me on my cell phone. I recently attended a wedding expo in my area and have been receiving quite a few calls from random numbers like this one. This one did not leave a message.
