At first I got excited about this business opportunity, but after thinking about it it seemed kind of fishy. Why?? I am not in the shirt or screen printing business, I sell perfumes!!! However, like the other posters, my business is in Texas. So I went on to tell him I am able to get them and he responded the following:

Are you the owner of the company?

Do you accept the major credit cards as a form of payment over the phone ?

And how long its going to be ready for pick them up at your shop when payment is done?

I await your response soon.

I wish we could do something about this and get authorities involved. BE CAREFUL!!!

I haven't gotten a phone call on this but recently have received several emails from various names with pretty much the same request. I've been in the shirt business for 20 years and have seen this scam many many times.

Also be aware that they use the hearing impaired TTD lines where an operator translates the call to you which is the first version of this scam I had dealt with probably 15 years ago. The sad thing with that is that the operator is legally bound to only tell you what the person on the other end of the line is typing and can't interject. When I said something directly to the operator about it being a scam that I had seen before and that I was ending the call they reluctantly told me that was a good idea.  I think they knew all along but couldn't say anything. Nice way to abuse a system meant to help the hearing impaired. Real scumbags!!

Screen Printer in Texas. Same this happened to us. Called credit card company and they said this is fraudulent.

Not only that, but it is the second scam letter I got today!  They seem to come in waves.  I'll get several over a week or so, then nothing for about a month.  I always do web searches on the name, e-mail address, and company/organization before responding to the e-mails.

my name is steve from http://www.printingthestuff.com and i had got the same email not just one i got another email from larrynew51@yahoo.com asking 80,000 flyers and that one was scammer too so seems like there are many people who are scam customers and they want destroy our businesses

Wow we got the exact same thing as many others! What happen to making a HONEST living? I was glad to see this site. Has anyone reported this person to someone? Is there someone else to report him to? It is interesting that he is very quick to toss out a credit card number.

I recieved the same call, I wonder if this person is targeting screen printers in the same area or just randomly across the country. I am in the New Orleans area. I think it is odd for someone to order 500 small shirts with no other sizes. That was a givaway something wasn't right.

I got a email from the same person(Antonello Feola) wanting 500 Small Blank T-Shirts, I took down his credit card info and called my credit card processor and they gave me the bank the account is linked to and the Name(Antonello Feola) didn't match the name on the credit card. The bank would tell me if the billing address matched.
I told him I could drop ship the shirts to him but he wanted to send Fedex to pick them up. That threw up some red flags.
he was a foreigner,Arab or Indian.

Same thing here.  500 t-shirts shipped to different address. afeola11@gmail.com  Request came though our website information e-mail address.  Wouldn't fill out online order using our website, wanted another way to process the order manually.

Received the same call and info as above.  Same guy wanting t-shirts.  Wanting shipped to a different address.  Always a red flag when shipped to a different address.

Recvd call from 425-298-9021  who then asked me to call him back at 662-743-4231. Emails from afeola11@gmail.com  and identified himself as Antonello Feola.  Wanting to purchase 500 blank white t-shirts. Advised him of need for certified bank check 14 days in advance of order shipment which prompted him to call me because "i must take his credit card"......scam all over this one. Hope no one gets burned...we weren't as we've had a lot of attempts with scams on blanks shirts.

I received a call last week requesting $10,000 in equipment, used frauded CC's to try and pay. My gentelmans name was Edward Collins. He sent me a copy of someone else's passport BEWARE

Received the same request from the John Bowman email address at yahoo. Also sent the information in the email about the Baggage Shipping Company to Australia. Suspected a scam as well and found this address

Phone number to contact him is 425-298-9021. It is an internet cell phone with terrible connection.

Received an email from johnbowman94@ymail.com asking for pricing on some of our products. After giving him prices he responded with this email:

Thank you a lot for your time and concern with me,I'M okay with the subtotal cost also am ready to proceed but i will like to recommend you to contact Baggage Shipping Company and find out about the shipping charges from your location to this delivery address below.

I suspected a scam and asked for a phone number for the shipping company.  After refusing for several days he finally gave me 425 298 9021.  I googled it and found this thread with you folks confirming that this guy is a scam artist.
