I, too, have been receiving calls from this number. I notice most of these posts are from late 2011 and early 2012 stating they were from Ron Paul's candidacy. If so, I wonder why they are continuing now in September 2012. Interesting................

Received a call from 4253908108 on 9/21/12. No one spoke and when I called the number, nothing happened, no sound of the call being made at all. Weird!

I looked the number up on Google before I even wasted my precious minutes listening to this CRAP. I wish there was a way to block these a***oles from calling my mobile phone.

This number is connected to a "phone voting" scam. See article, IndyStar.com here:

Interesting that the number is also connected to polling for the Ron Paul campaign. Evil.

my mother got a call today from this number (Vote USA) claiming they were the democratic party and asking if she wanted a ballot. I was immediately suspicious since they asked for her name, etc. glad I know now I was not overreacting.

"Tim",
Look up what "slander" means, lol. No one slandered him and based on many of the other comments below it did at one point mention him.
BC 2012-06-01 02:27:26 Unknown
You people need to understand that your local county clerk, or registrar of voters, is the agency that gives out your phone number to these Effn politicians. You all need to contact your local registrar and demand they remove your phone number from your voting records on file.

Lynn,
I completely agree with you...but politicians are exempt from everything that the rest of us are accountable for, they truly believe that they are smarter and know better than we do, even for our very own selves.
Sincerely,
Mel

@Ruby G: sounds like you work for a political survey calling company. Why can't you people understand that we do NOT want to be harrassed with these calls!!!
I got the call from 425-390-8108 a few minutes ago and refused to answer, which is MY RIGHT. I am fed up with the phone ringing, ringing, ringing all the time with these junk calls. We have to right to be free of this harrassment. Makes me furious that politicians exempted themselves from Do Not Call, because they are some of the worst offenders.

Wow, seems obvious, but thanks for posting that! Makes me feel so much better. Haven't lived in RI for years, but that makes sense -- I probably gave my number out at some event/fundraiser/rally/protest while in college, so I can't blame them for trying. I googled a bunch of random numbers that have called my cell lately, and this is the second from the Ron Paul campaign -- it would be nice if they left a message, and/or called from a single number/ area code, so at least I would know I don't have some random creepy stalker. But I do find it kind of weird that, as a former Ron Paul enthusiast (albeit now a far less interested and more busy/distracted/apathetic one), I wasn't even aware that he was legitimately running again -- you'd think leaving voicemails (even if pre-recorded by robots) would be the least they could do.

Darline 2012-04-24 17:01:31 Event Reminder
It's the Ron Paul Campaign; they only call if you have submitted your number to volunteer or request information. For example, they called me to remind me that the Rhode Island Primary is today, APril 24th. Go vote! RON PAUL 2012!

Called me twice while I was going balls deep into the old lady. No message left.

I also received an unsolicited call from 425-390-8108. Unlike the grumpy b*****ds who've already commented, I politely asked that my telephone number be removed from the call list. The caller apologized and said she would mark my telephone number as a "do not call" number.
I spend considerable time educating myself about candidates and their positions, and, even though I don't care to participate in these silly surveys, I'm glad to know there are like-minded individuals out there who do care about the country. Unfortunately, there aren't many who care or get involved, so candidates and organizations have to call plenty of you obnoxious sheep to find them.
Sorry they called you, go back to sleep, and let us adults take care of your politics for you.
Ruby G 2012-03-18 05:40:28 Political Call
Political calls are made by many hard-working volunteers donating their time because they believe in the country you live in, and want to see it made to be better for all of us to live in. These calls only come in around election time.
Political calls are all EXEMPT from the National Do Not Call registry, because they are not asking you for money. They're asking you for a brief blink of your time. You need to specifically ask each campaign to remove you from their list, or better yet put up with it for the short amount of time they will be made. And how about being a little more appreciative, and kind? Be glad anyone CARES about your opinion; be glad there are other people doing this hard work for free because they care about their country and getting an honest candidate into office, so that lazy people like you have the freedom to get on the internet and complain about it, and do nothing to better this country yourselves.
Shame on all of you. George Washington traveled in a boat with no coat or socks in the freezing cold and risked his life for all of your freedoms, and none of you even want to take as much as a 30 second phone call from your warm homes to ensure the protection of your own liberty. I don't care WHO the candidate is. You should all care more about your country than that. Really disgusting & shameful.

With 6 more calls today, I finally answered. Yes, the call does say at the end it is from Ron Paul Presidential Campaign Inc. I called the same number as JeninMissouri and left a message to take me off their list. It'll probably not make any difference since the calls will stop tomorrow after the caucusing is done. But, it made me feel better. I wish the politicians would have the guts to include political robo calls in things covered by the DNC list. I don't care who the candidate is that's calling. I don't want any of the bothering me with robo calls, even the ones I support.

Please quit calling. Would not vote Republican if I had a gun to my head. It does say paid for by Ron Paul and he is a nut and for sure would not get my vote. QUIT CALLING! Tired of 4 to 5 calls a day.

These calls from 425-390-8108 CLEARLY state they are from the Ron Paul campaign. The call lists only the Republican hopefuls, not Obama. Talk about needing to do the slightest minute of research . . . Yes, it comes from "VOTE USA" but the recording clearly states it is paid for by the Ron Paul campaign.
JeninMissouri 2012-03-16 19:04:28 Unknown
I called the Ron Paul headquarters (toll free 855-866-9779) and left a scathing message.

I receive 3-4 calls from 425-390-8108 each day!! Caller ID shows "Vote USA"
The recorded message asks, "If the Presidential election was held today, which Republican candidate would you vote for", lists the names and CLEARLY states that this was paid for by Ron Paul's campaign. After all of these intrusions upon my time at home, you can be positive that I would NEVER consider voting for this piece of #$%^. I called the Ron Paul campaign headquarters (toll free 1-855-886-9779), pressed 5 and left a message that was quite clear about how I feel about this campaign interrupting my time at home. It may not matter, but it made me feel better.
