that's what they do to me ,start out sounding all nice then et nasty

I received a call and voice message from this number, I returned  the call, and spoke to someone from Unified Billing, I found out I owe Group Health a partial payment for costs not covered by my insurance from a visit 3 months ago. Not any problem with the person on the phone. I told her I would call Group Health and pay the bill. She thanked me, wished me a nice day and hung up.

The number has changed - it is now a Medical Billing Company -

OMG! Seriously? Calling all times a day.....we tell them no one here by the name of Maria....and they keep calling!!  WTF? The called one night at 8:57pm. Right before the cut off time. Wish there was some way of turning them in for harassment. We already told them several times, that there is no one here by the name they asked for. annoying.

Who are these people and why call my daughter first? I pay my bills.

Called early this morning (8:55AM 6/28) did not answer.

People are being harassed for debts that have been discharged in bankruptcy, belong to someone else, do not exist or are beyond the SOL and uncollectable in a court of law. YOU grow up.

They (Alexa from Evergreen) left a message on my cell phone similar to everyone on here , saying that if I'm not "my name" that I should step away from the phone and that I need to call them back 'today'.
They've called twice, I haven't answered either time, they left a voicemail both times. June4th and now June 20th 2013.

They do not tell me who want money from me or what the amount is and I have no recollection of having debt and I have received no bills or anything in the mail.

I re-registered my number to the do not call list, and under that web site, goto 'file a complaint' and there is a link regarding debt collector spam. Follow that process, at least that's what I did. I don't know if it'll help.

just an fyi the statue of limitations is 7yrs for collection agecnies. you might want to google the fdcpa b/c you are very wrong.

You should NEVER publicly display your phone number. And this is not an agency that blocks calls it is merely a record of who has called people.

if they leave a message detailing the debt and the company they're representing then they're legit.

if not...it's a scam (i've been getting a lot of those since my ID was hacked)...i've delt with professional debt agencies over a medical bill I thought I had paid months ago and they have your info, they're super polite, and they will give you all the information you could possibly want.

it's the ones who buy debt from others that are shady...

i have gotten a call from this company as well, if all of you are soo worried and scared they are a scam and the big bad wolf why dont you grow up and call them back? hello? grow a brain if a coll agency is calling you just because you dont remeber having a debt doesnt always mean you dont have any in my case i forgot to pay a medical bill i had no clue i owed a debt i called ever prof and they told me who the debt was from i called my dr's office and sure as hell i had a bal, which i then paid with everprof, so how about all of you stop whining about getting the phone calls and call these people back and pay your bills.

Just got a call from this number, asked for my friend, said she wasn't available, asked to take a message, all she said was my name is BJ, just wanted to say hi, do you know when she'll be home. I told her I wasn't sure, she said she'll call later....Searched the number and it brought me here.... I'm going to report this to our AG's office. Misrepresenting who you are I'm pretty sure is a against the law.....

Getting calls with no vmail from these a-holes. Tired of it so I decided to use the text to voice for landlines option and flood them with this text message " Who is this? Everyone who knows me knows I don't answer or call back unknown numbers so u probably have the wrong number.". Text to voice sends this to a landline with an annoying electronic voice lmfao see how they like that ;)

Yes, it is Evergreen, a collection agency.  In my case they were sent my account from Group Health Cooperative regarding outstanding medical bills.  What was odd is they left a message that bears the words, "If this is not Robert, please step away from the phone", before they continue on about the phone call being an attempt to collect a debt.  Even if I wasn't Robert, someone telling me to "step away from the phone" would probably make me more intent on hearing what the message was.  Besides, in this day and age, how do you step away from a cell phone?  Lol.

Just tell them to hold on for a minute and then lay the phone down. Or you could if you have a three year old let them talk to them. Time is money to these people. Waste as much of theirs as you can.

Several calls - voice volume up & down so can't understand message or phone number to call back since listed as unavailable on cell.  Changed greeting so they would know that I wasn't the person they are looking for - had same number for 2+ years.  This morning got phone number on cell but no message. Finally just blocked number on cell phone....

These people called me a few weeks ago (# unknown on caller ID), and wanted my payment information (credit card info) but I don't do that over the phone. She wanted me to confirm my address and I regret doing that. And then she asked for my place of work (I told her I'd like to keep that private). WHY WOULD SHE NEED TO KNOW WHERE I WORK? And from reading some of the things on here, it really scares me. I might even tell my boss about this. So I told her to call me back the following Monday, she never did. But now (today) I've got a notice from Evergreen Professional Recoveries saying that I owe a co pay debt of $16. I personally think this is a scam and I intend to find out if this debt that owe is really something I truthfully owe. I will be calling my health provider and finding out if I have anything I owe them. And if I don't, I will know for sure. I might also call these UNPROFESSIONAL people back and asking for a copy of the "bill".

This is not a scam, they are a legitimate, although completely unethical collection agency.  I was contacted on the 25th of May, disputed the debt in writting within 30-days of FINALLY receiving any written statement.  They responded to me on July 8, 2011 by mail which arrived on the 18th of July and yesterday afternoon I was served with court documents and they are suing me.  The original PRINCIPLE they reflected in June was 811.00 and change, they now (not even two months later) show a PRINCIPLE of over $1,800.00!!!!  And no, the collections costs, filing fees, attorney fees etc... are all seperate.  Kicker is, I was making payments to the orginal creditor that was a hospital but couldn't pay as much as they wanted.  So my 811.00 bill is now totaling over $2,760.00.  My attorney now has the paperwork and is handeling it.  They are flat out liars, incredibly rude, and thieves.  I will be filing a complaint with the States Attorney General as well for the violation of the F.C.R.A.

I get a call from this phone number asking for someone I don't know.  They call every day and I give them the same response that this is a place of business and I don't know anyone by the name of Kirk.

I keep getting calls from these people every month or so.  They ask for me by my first name and never use my last name.  When I ask what my last name is, they cant tell me.  I pay ALL bills on time and so know for sure they are just fishing for people with my first name to try to find the person they really are after.  I suggest calling the company at (425) 402-6646.  Ask for the president, Ken Ross, and then give him a piece of your mind.  I just did.  Tell them they need to know who they are calling rather than just fishing for the right person.  If you cant get through to Ken, call Monica Wyler, VP of Sales.  They need to fix their processes so they are sure of who they are calling before they call.  Dont give them your number or you may get even more calls than before.  Only when the cost to them in time for their executives is high enough will they fix their process to stop wasting our time.
