This is a scam run out of an Indian city through an Oklahoma number (phony). Several months ago I fell for "computer repair" scam.of the bank, credit union and Discover card, only Discover card sided with the scammrrs.Let that be a lesson.

Someone is calling from a different number I'm sure and "Masking" it with the Number to Opt-Out.

I called this number back and it gave me the Option to Opt-Out from being called from Tele-Marketers. In otherwords, by following the prompts it would REMOVE my number from the Service that is BLOCKING Tele-Marketers in the first place. Pretty Slick...

Party says that are technical depart for windows version for Microsoft and my computer is infected with malicious malware.  Very difficult to understand call.  When I asked what country, they said 'New York".

So I looked it up. Then I called. All circuits are busy now. Eventually got through. It was an automated opt out telemarketer program. I have no trust that entering the info won't do the opposit. I do have other things to do than post here. Have an excellent day.

They should also be reported to the Washington State Attorney General's office except I did some checking and he is a Republican and will not investigate anything having to do with businesses. Wish I was in Washington State so I could vote against him. I plan to complain to the (non-Fox) media and see how much bad publicity he can stand. Anyone who got these (and many other) calls should do the same.

Scammers calling offering a free GE SECURITY SYSTEM SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! Don't deal with these clowns that work in a boiler room! When you tell them you have a system they will tell you that theirs is better, I usually tell them that they called a morgue and there is nothing but stiffs here. 99% of the time they never call again!

Fed up with these people calling everyday.  I am in Canada and they are in the US.  Something needs to be done but it appears we are held hostage to them and there are no regulations governing them.

Just call them back and press 1 to get your number removed from their call list.

How about just get a program called Phone Tray, these pricks tried calling me 15 minutes ago. My little Netbook with a 56K modem kicked in and played a wav message saying "The Number you are trying to reach is currently out of service, then it hangs up on them. They tried to call back 2 seconds later but gave up. Trust me, if you dont like telemarketers, random private name/numbers calling you, get it. I get satisfaction each time my phone rings lol. :-)

Please take the time to report these people to the CRTC.  I posted their contact information above.  (You can also get it yourself if you manage to convince them you are a legitimately interested.  String them along as long as possible, then ask for information about their company.)

This number just called me, so I made up a fake credit card number with a high interest rate and gave the info to that idiot.  They were glad that they finally made a sale.  I proceeded to give them a fake name as well as a fake address.  He started inputting the information and then realized that the credit card number I gave him was incorrect/invalid.  He then told me that there is something wrong with my number and at that time, I told him to stop f$#%ing calling me. He couldn't respond to me and the only thing he could do was hang up the phone with me laughing at him in the background.

Gotta be creative with these b*****ds.

I took the time to talk to these people and give them some fake info so that I could be connected to one of their representatives.

YESSSS!!! It's driving me nuts.  I'm at work and they have called me 5 times since 10:30am and it's now 2pm!

Telemarketer with the latest scam of trying to give away free home security systems. They call multiple times per day and of course you can't get off their list. Total fraud and a scam. You can amuse yourself and waste their time if you hit "1" and let them come on the line. My record is keeping them on the line for 13 minutes before they catch on they're being duped, so I challenge you to beat my record . . .  ;)

Annoying.  I don't answer, but they keep leaving vmail. On my cell. Which I pay for. How do we stop them?  Do they EVER actually get business from this approach?
Maybe the real people we need to find are the fools who buy their product as a result of receiving these calls...

THESE AWFUL PEOPLE CALL ABOUT 5 TIMES A WEEK.  I would like to sue them.  i put in a complaint with DO NOT CALL LIST

Called me in Canada, number from Washington.

Same thing debt relief. I sometimes wonder if someone at the DNC registry is selling our numbers. I wonder how many of these type calls I would be getting if I were not on the DNC. I also have a MagicJack number that is not on the DNC and I do not get any of these calls on it.

Call first identified as "Service Call"  then switched to "Unknown Name"

Just got this as a caller. The caller ID name was the phone # ("4254069020"). I didn't answer it so it went to the answering machine. It was a recorded message saying something like, "It's recommended to protect your home. If you allow us to put a small sign in your yard, we'll install a new security system at no cost for you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or installation whatsoever. To hear more, press 1 now. To be put on the "No call list", press 9."
