I received a call from this number yesterday and I said I wasn't interested and hung up.  Just missed a call from this number so I called it back.  It is a guy named George, but George isn't a real person.  It's an automated human response incapable of answering specific questions.  Anyway, George was calling to see if my business was interested in an unsecured loan.  These spammers are getting really high tech!

just got call - answered as usual with name of business, this is cathy how may i help you. ---- hello, this is george are you the business owner, --- no i am not i am the administrative assistant, my name is cathy how may i help you ---- hung up on me. seemed automated but not sure.

The company behind this uses a lot of numbers to try and fool people into answering.  I noticed it started to get a local prefix since almost everyone knows not to answer a call with a prefix they don't recognize.

Like Weirded out, I'm going to answer one day and say I'm the owner.  Heck, I AM the owner, I just don't want to talk with them.

Reporting them to the FTC doesn't work.  I'll pick up the phone then immediately set it down while I finish up whatever I'm doing.

Same thing just happened here, except it was George who was calling.  I thought George was a robot, perhaps they will call back and I will pretend to be the owner and see what happens.  Freaking creepers!

Just received this call; very robotic voice said, "Hello, are you there?"  and when I didn't answer, line went dead - soooo creepy.

Very odd, I couldn't tell if it was a robot or a person. It might have been a person playing pre recorded snippets. They only wanted to speak to the business owner and wouldn't say anything else. When I refused, they hung up.

I called back but got put on hold until they disconnected.

Victoria (sounded automated) called, asked for owner, I asked "what is this regarding please?". Again "I need to speak with the owner". Again "Can you tell me what this is regarding". They hung up.

Called the number back and got music with "your call is important to us". On hold 2 minutes. Then they hung up.

Claimed they could only talk to the business owner, this is their second call.

Idiots, do they really think we're that stupid?

This number just called my office... It seemed like some kind of robot responding to voice commands?  They asked if I was the business owner and I said no, then they said, "I'm looking for the business owner."  I hung up.  It was really strange and sort of unsettling.

received a call from this number. no one on theother line when I answered it and when i called it back i got a recording that it would connect me to the next available agent but then it just disconnected me.

Just got a call from this number - no answer on other end of line.
