Just called me a few minutes ago. I did pick up all automated, male voice says i just won a alarm system, press one to claim it or press two to be remove, i just hung up.

This number provides different promotions for different companies. The calls are always automated. Call back the number and press *1* to be unscubscribed from all their call lists int he future.

THANK YOU for this information!!!!  They call me at least 4 times per day.  But I just called back and pressed 1.  THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!

Automatic message saying "this is credit card services, there is nothing wrong with your account, you qualify for a lower rate and must reply within 30 days..." I hung up. If it was my bank then they would have properly identified who they were in person....

WHO IS IT?? JUST KALL ME LIKE MINZ AGO....

Do not call back and press 1 to get removed from their call list.  That is just another scam.  This scam is that they now have your caller id, perhaps you name and the fact that the number is a person.  They can sell that information to other scams.

Bull, I worked for Scholastic calling people about their orders. The phone number is on the screen. Any Telemarketer who tells you other wise is lying. In some cases even your address is on the screen. Even scarier (which is why I quit being a TSR) when you signed up for a loan the date you were approved will be on the screen same with insurance we can see the date it started and the date it is due to end.
Small tip for you all too, even if you signed up for the national DNC list you are put back on it the moment you get a new credit card or if you order things like books from schools or even somtimes since Scholastic is part of Disney you get a gift from the Disney store it puts you back on the list.

I recieved a call from the number on march 9th. didn't answer. figured it was some bulls***.

Whoever this is has called me 2-4 times a day for the last 3 weeks!  My husband answers and I answer to ask to be removed.  It doesn't matter if I push 1 to talk to someone or 2 to be removed.  It never goes through.

What's funny is they want to lower my credit card dept...I have no credit card.  They would also like to give me a free home security system...I live in an apartment.  I'm sick of it!!

Recieved numerous calls from this same number...so far 3 times today.  Any attempt to ask to be removed from their list ends in being hung up on.  There must be a way to stop these people.

they suck. when i asked them to take me off the list they proceeded to call me more. the guy that i talked to hung up on me when i asked them not to call anymore.

This number called and left message about a new law and locking in a new low interest rate but never claim a company.  Probably a scam to get me to call back and give my credit card number - normally any changes to my credit card comes in the mail directly from the credit card company.

Got a call at noon today. I live in Philadelphia, Pa. I don't know anyone in Washington, so I didn't answer. I just googles the number and found this.

This company has called me several times since we had our home phone services turned on, and requested repeatedly that they remove us from their list.  Obviously this didn't happen, as this is the 10th call I've gotten in roughly 2 weeks, and when I asked to speak to their supervisor I was promptly hung up on.  They claim to be offering "free" home security systems, but given the replies I've seen regarding this number I doubt this is the case.

The call me back on his personal cell phone 5 x  his name is Rich, his number is 407-879-8996.  Everyone call him and harrass him  PLEASE. He called me a bi*** and told me to go ahead and report him. He thinks he is untouchable..  I have news for him..  HE IS NOT

425 484-1805  left a message telling me that the stimulus money is going toward lowering credit card interest rates to 4.6%.

The guy named Rich, got very nasty with me. Then I hung up and he called me back on his cell  phone 5 x and continued to call me a BI*** and threatened me. His Cell # is 407-879-8996, his name is Rich.These telemarketers tell you , they do not know what number is being dialed.   Well then how did Rich get my number and call me back 5 times from his personal cell phone?

This is getting really madding

The caller ID reads "UPGRADE NOTICE," and their initial message makes it sound like they are updating Google's 411 directory. It turns out that they are a marketing company of some sort, so I asked them to put me on their do not call list.
