4/2/10 2:36 pm called my cell phone with no number showing, just Washington.  On my phone log there were the number 425 645-9756.

Called home phone, left no message.

Called me on my pre-paid cell phone.  I haven't given this new number to anyone or used it in any forms, so I'm not sure how they would have gotten this.  I didn't answer but will next time they call so we can figure out who it is.

Ok, just called the number back and got a recording.  "thank you for calling back, if you don't want to receive any of our preferred marketing offers please hit 1, please give 2 hours for your number to come off of our list."  

This has to be AT&T, I haven't given this number to ANYONE.

Oh...crappers I did text KGB one night, so it could be them.  Either way just a marketing call, and not a bill collector or government agent trying to round people up..haha

Called me rejected the number and checked my voicemail later on, and no message.

Got a call from "Verizon" wanting to see if we could have an upgrade to our FIOS service (which we do have).  I was on my way out the door and told them to check my zip code.  He said "I'll need your complete address to check".  I gave it but then got a "click - hang up".  When I called back on caller ID, there was an automated response saying "press 1 to remove your # from our preferred client list.. It will take 72 hours to process your request.

Claimed that they will be able to offer a  lower interest rate on the debt that I have. This is news to me since I don't have any debt.

6:05 Monday April 5th.  My caller ID said Verizon Fios.  Msg. said it was abt. lowering my interest rate so I hit 1 just to see what the heck they meant questioned the guyand of course he hung up.  Man, ya just can't be too careful these days!

just called me about 4:45pm. Caller ID said Verizon FIOS. I didn't answer

I don't answer numbers I don't know but got a call today. No message left.

They called, did not leave a message. I called them back, got a robot, and pressed '1' to be added to their do not call list.

Called me 9:00 am and hung-up when I answered.

Yup they called me today grrr

Received a call this afternoon. Since I didn't recognize number, I didn't pick up and no messages were left.

Received a call from these people, didn't recognize the number, googled it and found this page. Called back and opted out after reading these responses. It is just a telemarketer with prerecorded messages

I got a call from these people, but didn't answer. I decided to check here before even considering returning it. Looks like I made the right choice.

Anyone know how to get this number to stop calling?!  Got the 8th call from them today - the "opt out" thing other users have posted doesn't seem to work.  GRR!!

I just got a call from them and called them back.  Got the opt out message and did so.  The thing is that I haven't given this number to ANYONE at all.  So it has to be through at&t selling information or the use of KGB  which I used about a week ago to settle a bet.

Anyone else here used kgb?

I love (sarcasm) the tone the have like, why wouldn't you want to lower your interest rate? You'd be nuts not to want to save money? And then say this is the last time we are gonna call to give you this great deal to lower your interest rates on the card they can't even tell you the name of (because they don't know).  I said, GOOD!  And hung up.

Got a phone call today around 3:35, answerd but no response, I have been getting calls latley from private #'s and unfamilier numbers about lowering my interest rates on my credit cards and I have never carried one...

I don't answer #'s I don't recognize but these people called me, no message left.

I missed the call, called back; would only allow me to opt out of being called again...

I received a call from here this morning and they were wanting to lower my interest rate on my charge card....but they didn't say what the name of the card was and it sounded like a recording type message. I didn't press any numbers to go on with the call I just hung up. I'm pretty sure it was a hoax of some sort.

Claimed to be calling on behalf of my bank to lower my credit card interest rates - did not have the name of my bank so I knew they were a robo-call / telemarketer.  Would not give me their name.  Obvious sounds of telemarketing "bullpen" in background - sounded like an overseas call center, too, routed through a local number.  Told them to remove my number from their list.
