This guy from a Gibson law office just called me and said I will be getting arrested for check fraud and taking loans out from payday. I said how the hell did I do that when I work plus go to school. He said all the info will be told to me tomorrow when I get arrested. Is this a scam I need to know I'm about to get a lawer and sue this company that is trying to scare me straight wtf.

call left me a voice message stating this is your thrid ad final warning and you will be locked up. a sheriff will arrive on your job and put cuffs on you.  A Robert Groom.  Called back and was told I was a criminal and will go jail.  That is all he said when I called back after being hung up on.

called me first at my work and then on my cell telling me that I owe a payday loan I never took out using an old email address. the payday loan was called Quickpaydays. the caller was Eddie Brown at Gibson Law Firm first telling me that I was getting arrested and then proceeding to tell me that they couldn't give me any info.. they called  from the following numbers..2111119530..6000001111... 2085319536...8788771411..... don't let them intimidate you.. I called the police and they can be charged for telephone harassment if you warn them once and they call you at least three more times afterwards... don't be scammed and stand up for yourselves.. I have NEVER had a payday loan!!!

I too have gotton SEVERAL calls from the SAME "law office" stating I got a payday loan I NEVER got! I too am n bankruptsy n KEEP telling this middle eastern sounding man,who too keeps pretending to be different people like we r stupid!, so ne whoots once I begin doing ALL the questioning as to who has these alligations against, were I supose to have gotton loan, how much, when, n what bank account he threatened me said I was a CRIMINAL (lol) when I laughed and asked for a REAL number n names he hung up! Lol as I told him by law U have to tell me were U got my information from and WHO has a case against me! My lawyer tried to call them three times n NoTHING she found out iit was a telemarketing company based in INDIA yes everyone INDIA not indiana so I feel better knowin it is not just me being harrassed! They called my JOB with the 425-880-2607 number! WE have to get them! They FRADUANTLY have our socials and personal information !!!! WE can file suite on THEM and I am looking now with my husband on how we can and find out WEReR and WHO EXACTLY is behind this! I will re post with info! Please keep me informed!

I agree it is a scam.  Must be running out of names because one of the guys they transferred me to in their collections department was named Bradley Hansen with an India-Far East accent.  In fact all the ones I talk to all sounded alike.

I have gotten three different phone calls from different people stating that I have taken out some paydayloan and havent repaid it so the company is sueing me and if I didn't address this matter someone from the police department in my area would be coming to arrest me.  The first one I received was from some law firm in CA (10/23/2010), then I received another call from a law firm called American Legal service(11/1/2010) 760-284-4674, then Gibson Law Office (11/2/2010) 425-880-2607.  First I never took out these supposed pay day loans nor does my bank have any record of any funds being transferred, so I can say that they are full of crap.  I am looking for any help or information that can be found to try and stop these people from harrassing more hard working people like me.

I to have gotten at least 25 calls from these people.   We are currently in Bankruptcy so I know they are full of crap.    Do they really think we've just fallen off the back of the camel?     Let them keep on going just don't answer the phone.

This is a call I received from someone who said his name is Calvin Johnson from a law firm. He states you are in trouble and you need to call immediately. He states if you don't call back that a payday loan firm will press charges against your name & SSN if you do not pay an outstanding loan immediately.  I do not have any outstanding loan.  This is FRAUD and authorities need to stop these people.

I don't believe you at all. Local officers are not going to show up at someones house because of a debt. You are just part of the scam. They told me I was part of a lawsuit against a friend of mine. They did this last year too and now it's starting again.

Just got a message from Gibson Law Firm. 11:225 PDT today 10/28 AT WORK. Stated an American-Irish name of Bradley Hansen, but sounded like the guy from the Fiber One commericials. India-Far East accent. Told me to call him back in an hour. I did take out an emergency payday loan a long time ago and it was paid off within 2 weeks, which is what was on the contract. Since then, the company has sent me additional offers (with discounted rates) - I have not responded. If I owe them money, why would they make me new offers? Because the collection call IS A SCAM!!!!!!  I have gotten these calls from different people at supposedly different [law firms] from all over the country for over a year. IT  IS  A  SCAM!!!! They will not mail, fax, or email any documentation and will not state who originally contacted them to contact me. In other words, they will not provide me with the name of the company to whom I allegedly owe money. DON'T FALL FOR THIS !!!

I have gotten calls from this Gibson law offices several times in the last few days.  So far it's been Robert Brooms, Chrystal Williams, and Don Murphy.  All American names, but people with Far East accents.  They can't fool me.  I know who they are... they've been trying to scam me since earlier this year.  Their intimidating messages don't do squat.  I know they never follow up with sending officers of the court to arrest me, because they are all scam artists.  I don't owe them anything!
Why can't we get these people?  It's driving me crazy!  They call my cell phone, my office phone.  Before, they have pertrayed themselves as federal law agents, or other law offices.  All just a bunch of scammers, trying to frighten people into paying them, and losing out on a lot of money.

I just got a call from Gibson Law firm and talked with Joe Ross and then Daniel Brown, who by the way sounded a lot alike.  I asked for number and they gave me 1-425-880-2607.  They said that I to owed a payday loan from the  umbrella company Quick Pay.  This company has over 300 hundred pay day loan companies.  I get these a lost and this time I just played along, sometimes I tell them it is a scam and they just hang up.

i recived a call from them they said i owe some money if i dont pay they will send legal offficers at my home.I was scared thats why i hung up the call.But on next day two officers came at my house they served me all papers & i had to fight for my case.
i loose the case & i paid $ 5400 to the court house as a fine amt.

was left as a call back num. for a pay day loan, as soon as I told him <frank adams> I do not owe any money, he said if I did not pay it would go to court tol$ 4,000 +, as soon as I told let go to court and I would contack my lawyer he hung up. I  have got like 4 of this type of call as soon as I tell them see in in court they don't call back lol.

This is a call I received from someone who said his name is Paul Smith of Gibson Law Firm.  I have received previous calls from this person and he has several different names and different offices and phone numbers he asks you to call.  He tells you you are in trouble and you need to call immediately. He tries to be intimidating.
