This number called me eight times and I answered all of them when I answer the person won't stop saying "ma'am, ma'am hello are you there?" So I messages them and said if they didn't stop calling me, I was going to the cops.

Same thing except I get calls at least 4 times a week.  You get a recording that it is a non-working number when you call back and if you answer, it disconnects in Ashley moment.  Last night at 12am and 3 am.

Someone in the string mentioned magazines.  My calls never go that far.  However, do any of you shop at Steinmart?  I ask this because they try to sell you magazines at checkout.  It comes up on the credit card screen automatically and it makes you believe you are agreeing to the charge amount unless you look closely and see the small question above asking for a subscription to magazines.  Do you think stores are giving out this info?...

The FCC is powerless and can't do a thing. Try complaining to them but nothing ever happens. Here is just for this and last month (there were a few calls prior to this list).
(Calls and if missed or answered, answered is always dead air and drop at 12 seconds, missed leaves no message.)

Again, the FCC is powerless and just a way to make you feel like you did something by complaining. Ultimately, the federal government has no power over its own country (everyone's complaining and nothing being done is proof of that). The number is disconnected when I try to call back, but if this is "National Magazine Exchange" (or NME), I'm on their do-not-call list so they could be faking that "disconnected" error.

This number has been calling me for months. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code and figured it was a phone scam number. Never texted my phone or left messages, wasn't possible to call the number back. Finally answered it today and the guy kept asking for Michael. Only responded to him in Spanish. he hung up really fast xD

did anyone ever think that it migt be a gmail account overseas attempting to solicit information as to your name address / credit card info? i have a gmail account it too uses viop technology and it is an outside line only no incoming they too tried to contact me in reference to magazines ha if i want a magazine ill go to piggly wiggly or 7 11 and buy one out right cheaper that way!

called regarding a magazine subscription and wanted to update their records.  no recollection of ever using this service and details were sketch.  hang up the phone.

I got a missed call from this number very early in the morning, which was promptly followed by another call (which I ignored) from 585-808-9463. The 434 number has been calling at all hours of the night and day, each time leaving no message if I do not answer. If I do answer, then there is silence and the call is dropped every time.

I know from research on the 434 number that it is related to a service that claims to want to send you free magazine subscriptions, all you have to do is provide your credit card information to pay for the shipping and handling, which sounds like a scam. I did once speak to someone from the 434 number who tried to sell me the magazine scam.  Since the 585 number called within a minute of the 434 number, I'm assuming they are related.

585 is a New York area code but 434 is from Virginia.

Keep getting calls from this number at all hours of the day, at least once, sometimes twice. I am on the national do not call list, and this is ridiculous. They don't leave a message, and they hang up when I answer. Oh, wow that's ironic the number just called me again today.

I really do not appreciate soliciation calls. They annoy the hell out of me.  If I wanted to buy magazines or any product for that matter. I would go to the store.

Its a magazine company that tries to sell you like 4-6 subscriptions at once. They want to charge you the "low, low" price of about $20/mth for 2-3yr.... even if I wanted magazine subscriptions wow what a rip off. they will run you in circles, best to just not answer. they dont respect the do not call list and will not take your number off their list.

This number has called 3 times total, about a week-ish apart each time.  I think I'll make plans, for next time they call.  hehehe....

Received a call, I answered and nothing on the other end.

When i answer it the want to speck to the home owner and its my cell and i dont own a home. kinda weird

I got a call from a lady named Debra. She claimed she was with National Services and tried to sell a "free" magazine subscription, just pay "shipping  and handling charges". After saying I was not interested and asked to be put on their do not call list she continued on...

I didn't want to waste me time, so I wasted her's. Left the phone on to see how long she would wax poetic about how awesome the deal was. She went on for about 2-3 more minutes.

GRRR!!!!! I have answered all three times this number has called and when I answer, no one is there. Then the call is dropped. Each time I call back, it is not a working number. They call at odd hours and days. My first call was Sunday NIGHT at 10:47pm.

Same as above - got a call from this number just now, they left no message, and was unable to return the call.

Also received a call from this number with no message.  When I called back, I also got the message that this was not a working number.

Called no answer when I called back it says number is not a working number, This is the 3rd call today, and its getting rather annoying!!!!
