Received a hang-up call from this number.  When I tried calling back I received the following message:

If you are not interested in receiving any more calls about our special promotion and would like to be placed on our Do Not Call list, please press 1.  Please allow up to 72 hours to be removed from our preferred marketing list.  Thank you and have a nice day.

This number called both of my home numbers about an hour apart.    I am on DO NOT CALL list.    

I have contacted my local telephone company and filed a report with the Annoyance Call Bureau.  The number is in Logan Utah.

Repeated calls with an auto-answer response after you say "hello". The call then goes dead.

have caller ID so don't answer any I don't know, figure if they want to get a hold of me they will leave a message. This came up Logan Ut.  Left no message, first sign it's a telemarketer.

Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer and they left no message.

1-435-294-1290 called me at 4:35 PM and hung up when I answered. Fortunately I now have VOIP (Voice Over IP) with Callcentric. I can now send them a SIT (Special Information Tone) indicating the number has been disconnected, as well as an error voice message stating that the number dialed has been disconnected. I had my home number ported to Callcentric. I now pay $1.95 per month plus 1.5 cents per minute for incoming calls. They have a few different plans.

This number called my landline (which is in the Do Not Call List) but left no message on May 11, 2009 at 8:18 pm (Pacific time)

I picked up.  They were unable to connect.

I agree with Southwest Consumer.  This number/caller is a SCAM designed to circumvent the (unenforced) DO NOT CALL laws.  Call you State and Federal Representatives and DEMAND that money be put in the budget for enforcement of this; and also ask for widespread revealment of the companies AND the actual PEOPLE behind these so-called businesses (SCAM ARTISTS) to publically sanction and EMBARRASS these SCUMBALLS.  I'll bet these things STOP in a hurry if its found and revealed that "high officials" in so-called religions or political parties are behind these things.  Are you listening Utah-based "church"???

Opinion One has called me twice in the last few months (maybe or not from this number). Technically poor operation, similar as another commenter experienced: when I pressed "1" to take the survey the call reordered (fast busy). Today when they called I just hung up.

I find one or two calls identified only as Logan UT on my call log every day, but no phone number and no voice mail messages.  I never am home when the calls come in.   Pain in the butt to keep clearing the call log.  I have the phone number on the DNC list

Phone ran 2 times. Opinion one came up and I answered the pone and got a dial tone.

I just received a call on my business phone from this number. I have a couple of clients that are in UT, so I assumed maybe this was one of them calling. Nope. There was dead air. I said twice, "Company name, this is MB." There was no disconnection of the line or proof there was someone there to begin with.

I generally use Caller ID to help screen calls.  The caller ID said Opinion One.  So I thought it was an opinion poll and I know those are not under the jurisdiction of the Do Not Call List.  I decided to answer the phone and ask them to place me on their do not call list.  When I did, a male recorded voice answered and gave me an option of participating in a poll or being removed from their call list.  I pressed the appropriate number for being removed from their list and was greeted by a recorded female voice that told me if I wanted to be removed from their list and from receiving special offers to press a certain number, which I did.  Special offers?  From an opinion poll?  I suspect this is a telemarketer who knows that public opinion polls are exempt from the Do Not Call List, so they created one to have you participate in it before they give you their sales talk.  I am reporting them to the Do Not Call List  and will not answer opinion polls in the future.

called at 2:30pm PST. Bad message saying something about a "survey". Asks to press "1" to continue then call drops.

435-294-1290  Opinion One comes up on my caller ID all the time.  When I am home to pick up, a very poorly recorded message states that they are doing a survey and to press 1 to participate.  It does not state what sort of survey they are doing.  The area code for the call indicates that it originates from Logan, Utah.  Another example of how the "Do Not Call" list is not working at all.  The number of nuisance calls seems to be increasing because companies can see that there is no enforcement being done.
