Same BS about important message

I received text yesterday from online24@activate.com to call that number. At least I know better than to do such a thing. Still ticks me off that people can get away with this stuff.

Got the same text yesterday   I am on Virgin Mobile (owned by sprint)  Online24@activate.com

I was at work and they text me said it is important message to call immediately not just once, twice in 30 min apart. I did not call. I'm Sprint customer.

received text message to call and called wanted MC card # and I don't even own one, no cards at all.  This phone number mine is only a work number for emergency and is publicly owned by tax payers.  It is to replace our Nextel system.  We will review this with the City PD.  We are also reporting to the Feds.

Both my husband and I received a text Subject:Message-02 Please call 440-625-1028. This is an important message. Neither one of us called. We both use Sprint.

I just got this message as a text a few minutes ago. Did not /will not call it. Figured it was /is a scam! I'm an AT&T customer. So whoever's doing this is using all the different phone company's. Hope whoever it is, gets caught and goes to jail.

I didn't respond. I'm an AT&T customer. Seeing these messages, I'll just delete it.

Yeah I just got this same message on my phone and searched it on google and came here. Definitely seems like a scam.

Not just Sprint but Verizon customers too since that is my carrier and I received the same message.

I told them to F$%K OFF!

Same thing.  online24@activate.com isn't the subject, it's the sender.  I'm guessing everyone getting this is on Assurance Wireless, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, or some other carrier or program associated with Sprint/Virgin Mobile.  If you send an e-mail to yourself from your phone, it shows up as <your phone number here>@yrmobl.com,  I'm guessing they're e-mail spamming Sprint asociated numbers with an sms/e-mail gateway.

I got a message to tell me to call back , it seems like a scams.

This number just called me as well, I ignored it. It said to call that number and that it was an important message. Obviously a scam!

I received two text messages asking me to call that number. with the e-mail online24@activate.com as the subject of the message.
