I think these scammers are probably connected to the "Rachel from Card Services" scammers.

Robocall from scammers. This is totally false and definitely a scam. They tell you that it is an opt-in list so that means I would have to agree to receive the call. I would never agree to receive a scam robocall and I did not agree to receive this call. This is the call - blah, blah, blah, $3,000 in free grocery saving certificates that can be used at over 100 major grocery chains across the US.  In addition to the $3,000 in grocery saving certificates you will receive a free emergency medical alert bracelet or necklace...press one to have your $3,000 saving certificate mailed directly to you and learn more about the risk free offer. Press 5 to be removed from this opt-in list. They make it seem like they are sending you $3,000 and then kind of slip in they will also send you a "free" medical alert device. They mention the $3,000 they are offering to send you several times and the medical alert bracelet seems like an afterthought. They never mention anything about what kind of coupons they are offering to send you. I'm sure they are not for any products I would purchase. And what kind of "free" medical alert bracelet are they talking about? This is a scam and they want personal information including social security number and credit card numbers.

Had a call today. I listened to his canned speech and then when he asked where he could send this device to I said "I'm in a nursing home...let me ask the nurse what the address is here"   so I wasted some time and get back to him and say " the nurse says I don't need your device"   Then he says  " Does your nurse get into the shower with you...you could fall in the shower"  ...I replied  " you bet she does...and naked too...we have all kinds of fun"  So then he goes on about how great the system is...blah  blah......so then I start coughing like I am about to die and hang up. Just too much fun!

Robocall scammers calling. Probably worthless coupons.  They offer those coupons so you will sign up for their supposedly free medical alert bracelet. What they really want is your personal info. and especially your social security number, credit card numbers...

I received this "Senior Assistance" robo-call from 662-260-3385 this morning.

My thanks to Tamianth for links to make complaints.

Very early this year I reported Rachael to our State Attorney General's office and, although they didn't promise to take action, I haven't heard from Rachael in months.  However, Lisa has replaced her.

This is a phishing scam. The scammers are trying to get personal information. Once they get the victims social security number, credit card number... they do their thing.

we hadn't had our new phone number for a full day when some jerk from n royalton called with this scam.  going to try changing the number again to an unlisted this time to see what happens.  we, are of course, on that so called "do not call list".  telemarketers and scammers are calling everyday now.  seems the cable company could/should do something about these low-life callers.  they say that they are just trying to make a living but it seems to me that there are better ways to earn a living than to spend your time annoying people on the phone.

Received a robo call in Toledo pertaining to this.  Stated that if I was a senior citizen and over the age of 65 I was entitled to $3,000 dollars in coupons for groceries and a free medical alert. Please stay on the line for the next available agent. The call came from Royalt or Royalton Ohio. I have also filed a report. Roanoke VA. BBB has a warning out about this call.  Advising people do not give any information such as bank, checking, savings, or Social Security numbers what so ever.

I told the scammer not to call me back and he replied  that he would call me as many times as he wants. I ended up hanging up on him. I want him to call back because I intend to record him repeating that statement again so I can file charges for harassing phone calls.

The scammers called and offered me $3,000 in "grocery saving certificates" if I get their "free" medical alert bracelet. The scammer probably wants all kinds of personal information like social security number, credit card numbers, etc. It is some kind of phishing scam.

Good article from the BBB shown in above post.

http://vawest.bbb.org/article/BBB-Alert-Possi ... lert-Scam-43458

?    Be wary of anyone offering you something for ?free? in exchange for your personal information. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

?    Do not provide your bank account information, Medicare number, Social Security number or any other personal information to unknown individuals over the phone."

These idiots just called me this evening. I listened to the pre-recorded pitch for "senior citizens" that included an offer for $3,000 worth of free groceries and a medical alert collar, then pushed one to speak with a live rep. When I got the rep I advised her that she was breaking the law by calling me, and she said, "Actually, I'm not." I told her she was working for a scam and hung up.

These are a scam call. And no one should be spoken to like this even if its a scam caller for this alert system.

I am so appalled!! My Dad received a phone call from an automated machine saying that if he were 60 years or older he could be eligible for senior benefits and to stay on the line to speak with a representative. Well, he did and once he reached a representative; she yelled at him saying, "YOU NEED TO GET A F*CKING JOB!!" and she hung up on him.my Dad IS 61, and has worked his entire life.

Yeah, I can receive $3000 worth of grocery vouchers AND a medical alert button if I press "1", which I did & the phone went to disconnect. I guess they changed their mind. I was willing to tell them if they had my phone number, then they probably had my address also & to just mail it to me, but I didn't get the chance. I am actually a little disappointed, because if the person on the other had anything other to say to me besides, "ok, we'll get those things right out to you in the mail", I was going to tell them, "do not call this number again." It seems that legally, if you tell these scammers that one phrase & they call you ever again, you can then start prosecuting them for big bucks & they know that & rarely will they call you back.
