They are a robocall and repeatedly call.

Same people keep calling me! Said I had 2 fraudulent charges against my name and social and I will be served papers at home or work. I called them back to get info for my family lawyer and everytime I call they put me on hold forever. So I started researching and found tons of scams against this number! Don't answer! How can we stop them?

I kept getting calls from this scammers.  They would never give me their info. but they want mine.  Anyone know how we can stop them from harrassing other people?

Same here they keep calling my husband telling him fraudulent activity is linked to his ss# and there are two cases filed. I'm not worried about it because we don't have anything for them to take!

I got the same message that they have a civil suit against me. Also getting calls from other out of state numbers saying same thing.  One number is in state calls. I keep seeing that it's all a scam.  Said fraud is attached to my ss#.

I received a call from this number and it was a recorded message stating that someone had a filed a civil complaint against me . It also stated that I was going to be served some legal documents. I believe this is a scam and do not waste your time calling them back. Any legit business or company would leave their name and number not just a number. The recording also stated that they were a debt collector and I do not owe anyone so that is why I know it is a scam!

KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THEM OR SOMEONE ELSE SAME CASE # SAME THREAT TIRED OF THIS  BS..

They are trying to scam you for your debit card or bank information. PLEASE do not give them it. ask for everything in writing to be mailed to you with the original debt holders name and information. Illegal debt collecting practices. They are not lawyers! The company first said they were DC Financial in Washington DC when my one payment came out they were CT Financial from South Carolina. The lawyers were from Goldman ans Associates. Big scamming company have MANY complaints with BBB and FTC. Just tell them they need to put it in writing NOT e-mail.

It is a total scam. Threatening people with legal action. DO Not give them any info. Tell them you want it in writing with the original debt holders name. They will never send it to you. Totally illegal debt collection practices!

This is a scam that I unfortunately fell for! They call you and say that there is going to be legal action filed against you and you are being charged with 2 counts of defrauding a bank or financial institution. They said they were able to stop the legal proceedings if you pay off the debt at a reduced rate. They lie and are rude when you call them on there lies. They wanted me to pay 1500.00 for a credit card debt with Capital One. Told them they would have to call back on Friday after my husband got paid for me to give them any money.  They never called back until last night and said papers were being drawn up and ready to be filed in my county scared the crap out of me telling me I was being charged with 2 felony counts of fraud. told them all I could pay was 100.00 today. they took all of my information and processed the payment. Called Capital One and I did have an account in 2000 which I did have a balance of 200.00 that was sold to a debt collection in 2002. They gave me that number and when I spoke to them they informed me that in NO WAY had they sold this debt or had any knowledge of who these people are. The debt was past the statute of limitations after 5 years of original debt. They are sending me a letter stating that these people are not associated with them AT ALL and the debt has been settled. Had to call my bank and Red Flag my card and account They already got the 100.00, but will get no more!! Talked with 3 different people Audry, Karen Carol, and a man that would not give me his name.
