Has called 2 times a day for a week.

I have had this number several times this month, all around 5 pm pst. Anyone know what or who this number leads to?
When I receive this call the caller hangs up.

Received a call from this number - answered and no one answered they hung up.  I looked up this number from goggle and found this page.  Hummm.

Received a call tonight - answering picked-up but no answer from caller.
Area code of 454 is currently unassigned and is not associated with any US state so the call could be coming from almost anywhere

Call came in at 1:29 pm on 4/6.  we didn't recognize the # and didn't answer.

Once or twice they asked about our mortagae..........now there is a dial tone.

I get many calls from this number but never answered until today. They asked for my son by name. I told them they had the wrong number and then asked what they were calling about and the man (East Indian accent) said he was calling to speak to the property owner. I said I am the property owner so he said he was calling about my mortgage.  I said I don't have a mortgage, thank you, and then hung up. Reported the call on the Do Not Call complaint website.

Either a dead line or Mortge Co.  I think I am going to play the game and find out who this is and Yell at them.  I am on the no call list but they are calling from India.  They used to call 3 times a day.  No they have started again.

Answered call from 454-647-4848-Hello, I said...no one, nothing....annoyed, I did a reverse phone look up online, to be told that 454 is an invalid area code.  Tried to call the number back, call wouldn't go through.  Call just came in from the number, again.  I picked up the phone but said nothing.  Male with an Indian accent FINALLY said Hello?  I said Hello, who IS this?  He said "am I speaking to the homeowner?"  I said Yes, and I am on the Do Not Call Registry, what is the name of your company?  and he hung up.  They cannot be blocked from our phone because they are not coming up as a recognized area code.

I received a call from the number 454-647-4849 and was disconnected upon answering.

caller ID said unavailable but the number 454-647-4849, I answered but no on on the line.  When I called back- number said, disconnected.  Odd. Didn't have these kinds of calls until I went with Comcast as my phone company....never had this with ATT

I've gotten calls from this number twice, each time the caller hangs up without talking.  Since I'm on the do-not-call list, I am going to report them for violating the law.  Maybe if we all do that, the fines will stop these people.

Try using Google Computer to Cell Phone Message service.  It should be no charge to you, but regular text messaging to the recipient, ie. 454-647-4849.  If this person gets bombarded with say 5000 text message charges (that is if she doesn't have unlimited text service), maybe she will find a new career!

This is what I sent her today 4/01  subject: my mortgage
I don't have a mortgage!  You are a scammer and a poor one at that!  Your telephone number is posted all over the web.  Get a real job!

Woman with Indian accent ask for me and then immediately asked "you have a mortgage" and I said "Where are you calling from" to which she said something that could not be understood. Then I said I can't understand you and she said again "you have a mortgage" to which I said I don't talk on the phone about things like this and then hung up.

Received call from this number on my cell at 11 AM Pacific on 3/28/07. Saw the number was long distance from an area code I don't know anyone in. Did not answer. No message was left. Looked it up and found this page. Seems like a scam. Where is the 454 area?

Today @11:22 am receieved a call an middle eastern / oriental man asked for me by name. After I replied yes he said okay then hung up. I have a bad feeling after this call. I called the number back was unable to connect.

Received a  call did not get to answer in time did not leave a messagea and when i called this number back it tells me the number or code is incorrect and to check the number or code again..

Woman w/ UK accent call me yesterday offering mortgage stuff, didn't answer and she hanged up. Why are these people calling us? There has got to be a reason and I bet is not a good one. Caller type should have a box for scam in it.

Recieved calls from this number last week and today last time I told the man I was on the do not call list and please stop calling me. He still tried to talk to me about mortgage/home loan. I told him I would sue him for wasting my cell phone time and he hung up.

Got a on my cell phone from this number on 3/23/07 at 1454, when I answered no one responded to me.

received call from 454-647-4849 at 3:56 pm mountain time on 3/23/07. didn't answer as I am not familiar with this number. my phone number is on the no-call list.

Call came to our home 3/21/07 @ 7:41 p.m.
Clicks and then the operator message "If you want to make a call..."
*69 gave me  454-647-4849

Called my cell 5 times at around 6:00 pm Eastern Time (3/22/2007). I did not answer; and there were no messages.  My cell number is on the do not call list.

Found this number on my caller Id - couldn't find where this area code is from so being curious I tried calling it:  I get told its an incorrect number.  After reading these posts I'm beginning to believe its a scam and I'm glad I didn't answer this one.

recived this call 7+ times. never got a chance to answer. when I tried to recall the number, I recived a message saying it was an incorrect number
