I just got a call which I will add or have already added to my block list.  I will now get no ring but I will be able to get list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone  Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.  The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

I also got recently the Pro Call Blocker version 2.2 which allows blocking 10 area codes and 1500 phone numbers plus Private, Unknown, and Out of Area calls.

Called and caller ID said "URGENT".  It was a recorded message about a "free" emergency alert bracelet (like "I've fallen and I can't get up).  They said push 1 for more information.  I did, and they put me through to a guy who asked my name and "the best number to call back on".  I said "the one you just called."  He then proceeded to give me the sales pitch for a full five minutes.  He said you only pay the monthly monitoring fee, it has a range of 800 feet ("more than an eighth of a mile"), and it comes with $3000 of grocery coupons you can use "at the same stores you shop at right now."  458 area code is Oregon.  I am on the do not call list and have an unlisted phone number.

Called, left no message

Did not recognize the area code or number and did not respond to the call.  Let the phone ring while I checked it out on the website.  Glad I did.

Called from 458-201-1152. Urgent. Didn't answer and they left no message.

We also have had enough. If I let machine get it no one is there. I am on DO NOT CALL List also and it doesn't work. Tired of these scammers!!

I get the phone number only on my caller ID. Didn't answer and, of course, they left no message.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I have received this type of call a lot.............I thought I was on the donot call list........ what a waist?.....

OK another of the calling idiots who invade our homes.  I tried google, also NDB.com - National Data Base.com) and then 411.com which shows Eugene OR.  Apparently our PA DO NOT CALL List is worthless along with our USA allowing these idiots to continue.  OK politicians - stand up and fix the idiots.  We all have had enough.

just got call from 458-201-1152 id says urgent ,I didn't  answer no message left so that shows how URGENT it was.  

I just had a phone call from "Urgent". Since I don't know anybody named Urgent in Oregon , i let it go to answer , they did not care enough to leave a message.

I often receive calls from this number (with Caller ID as "Urgent."  I don't answer, but would REALLY like to block this number and/or have MY number removed from their list (most likely a robo-call list).

Just had a phone call from "Urgent".  So of course I ignored it.  They left a message saying they wanted to give me $3000 of groceries.  Oh dear, I am so sorry I missed out on that.  Unfortunately these scammers do find victims, which is why they never give up.  A pox on them all.

Just called us..caller ID said URGENT..left no message.

My dad's phone received a call from this phone #...it gave the person's name as "URGENT".  When I answered, no one was there.  This is strange!
