I just received a call from them saying they are Merchant Services and asking who they can talk to about over charges. I said they can talk to me and then he hung up. I called him back to ask why he hung up on me and he hung up again. I called him again and hit the mute button and he said "Ma'am I'm going to hang up on you again." I feel like harrassing the ish out of them now that I have a number. I am going to also try to get the authorities involved because our organization has been going thru a lot of fraud lately thru merchant services (PayPal).

I just received a call from Nikki Barns who said she was from Merchant Service Inc.  The caller ID showed Waxahachie, TX and she wanted me to fax in my bank statement showing my merchant services fees to her fax # 877-720-1496.  She said she would wait on hold while I did it and could save me money.
I googled this number of 469-280-0342 and hung up!

Call from a "Merchant services" company - wanted to speak to someone in my business who handles overcharges. I asked if he was trying to reach a business line or personal line. The signal went dead (I guess he hung up).

Received a phone call from a Kevin Blake saying that my company was overcharged in merchant services with VIsa in the month of December and if I had any of my statements from that month. I told him to call back late Sunday evening and early Monday morning (I sensed it was a  scam call because of the tone and the phone number on my caller ID). I called the number back after Googling and came upon this website. Another person answered and it was furious because I was taking up her time. I asked to be transferred to Kevin Blake and she said that I would have to find him and his extension and to leave her alone.

DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE TELEPHONE. Always, always ask for verification and that they have your information. It's also always a good idea to give a bogus name.

The man on the phone portrayed himself an employee of my Merchant Account and that he had an overcharge he wanted to get settled.  We do not have a Merchant account.  This was definitely a SCAM.  DO NOT GIVE THIS NUMBER ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!  IF you do Call the FBI..

I won my business ,I got a Call from Cindy From Merchant services incorporated saying that Visa and master card overcharging meat 2.5% when they should be charging me only 1.79%.She asked If I could send her the most recent merchant statement.I told her I would like to talk to Chase bank who I got My Credit card machine
she was like You first send the statement to us and we will point out what chrges are being overcharged exactly. I swipe a lot of Credit cards from Clients ,I am so glad I dint send her that information.Somebody Investigate these scam artists.

Just got the same exact phone call from Renee.  SCAM!!!

Same thing just happened here. I guess they think small business people are stupid. It sounded improper from the start and when I questioned the woman she could not supply who my merchant account was through. But she assured me she did this for a living all day so it must be legit. Lots of crooks stay busy all day. I wonder if there are any state agencies that would care to go after these bogus telemarketers?

Called today saying she's from Merchant Services and that there is an overcharge on our account. Since we get a lot of solicitation calls from merchant services, I asked her to confirm information about my business account to verify who she was and if this call was legit and she hung up.

Just got a call from these people- same thing- Renee at Merchant Services calling, we were overcharged on our account, have we received statements from September, October, November, etc. She had some sort of Caribbean accent, I think. She had my husband's name and wanted to know if there was a swipe machine at our business. I told her we didn't have our own business, and I had no idea what she was talking about-- that neither of us had a business account. I asked her what creadit card she meant, and all she'd say was "our business account." I didn't tell her this, but the only credit card EITHER of us have is one corporate card from my work, which I know for a fact is fine. I asked her to send me something in writing, and she told me she'd email it to me if I gave her my email address (which I wouldn't). She gave me her phone number, and told me to talk to her after I talked to my husband since "there might be something I didn't know." I told her I handled all the finances for the household, so speaking to my husband wouldn't change anything. I told her again that if she sent me something in writing, I'd look it over, and that I wouldn't give her any info otherwise because it was totally unfamiliar and didn't sound legitimate to me. She then asked for my address. When I questioned how she could be servicing a credit card account of mine without having my address, she said she did have my address (and read it to me), but said she needed me to verify it (and she was starting to sound very annoyed at this point). Allegedly, she's sending something in the mail. We'll see; I doubt she'll be getting a call back from me.

I could barely understand the lady, who seemed to be telling me that I was overcharged. She kept saying she was from Merchant credit card services.
She could not tell me what bank or what card she was calling about, besides saying visa.
i gave her no info and she hung up.

Also recieved call from TX that we were having "over charges" from Merchant Services Inc. and they wanted to help rectify the situation.  I advised them I would contact my Merchant service company directly to deal with it and he wasn't quite sure what to say.  He fumbled a moment and said, " can you hold on a minute" and put me on hold.  I hung up.

Tell him your reporting him to the attorney generals office he will stop calling for sure

Called today and she said she was calling from Merchant Services and was calling about overcharges to our account.  I told her we did not have an account with them, and she said it was about our credit card and something showed up in there system.  It told her again I didn't know who they were, she went on to explain about our credit card company overcharging us , and I told her we check the bill each month.  I went on to tell her what ever she wanted we weren't interested in, her last comment to me was "Enjoy your Overcharges".   What kind of scam are they trying to pull????

I just got a call about an overcharge.  They didn't even know the name of our business. When I told him to harass somebody else he told me to jump off the balcony.

We keep receiving calls from "Merchant Services", and they tell us we were overcharged and they want to help rectify it.  We can't get them to stop calling.  

They said their company name was Merchant Services Inc and the number came from Texas.  I looked up Merchant Services Inc in Texas and a different number was listed.  I called them and they said that they are the only company by that name in Texas and it was not them calling.  They were going to be calling this company and having a chat.

This person called and said that they are Merchant Services and calling about an overcharge.  They would not give me any other information, but wanted to get my info.  Then when I asked exactly what it was about, they hung up on me.

Got a call from this number, they said we owed some sort of credit card charges for our business ... we don't have any of the things he was talking about. The name he left on our answering machine is KEVIN BLAKE. Do not give this man your information, we did not, we believe it is a scam to get your credit card numbers.
