got 2 calls from them - 1 on 5-13 and another on 5-14, no message left either time, i did not answer phone either time. I am on the no call list - from illinois

I receive text message and call. They didn't leave voice mail on my cell phone. They said it was concerning my account. I inform my bank and life lock. I live in AL

I received a missed call from this same number at 1:16pm today and I live in Cleveland. I find this extremely weird that this is happening to a lot of people in the same area such as CT and Ohio.

Yep, I got the call too.....I assume the are spoofing the caller ID that they are using and are more than likely nowhere close to Paris, Arkansas...I've blocked the number from my phone as well as texted the number to all of my contacts telling them to block it...

if anyone actually talks to someone, tell them you are very interested but you are in the middle of something....ask for a number to call back...if they are dumb enough to give it to you, RUN to the nearest police station with that phone number....

I'm in Texas.. and just got that call May 13, @10am from same number i didn't pick it up..i came here first to check it out.. lol..low n behold i'm not that special haha..since others got the same call.. ;) peace ..

They called to offer a reduction in credit card interest rate.  When they felt that I was going to ask to be removed from their list, they simply disconnected.

This number called me and I got some sort of recording telling me to praise Allah!

When I answered they said" This is credit card services, there is no problem with your credit but we have important information about your insurance" that's when I hung up.

Answered, which I never do to #s I don't recognize, because I'm so sick of this & wanted to know who it was.
It was a recording from "Cardholder Services" about lowering interest rate.  Hit # to continue, I did not, I hung up.  Obvious scam

Got a call from thiis number that said it was a credit card co.  I have reported it to my state's Attorney General with all the pertinent info.  I suggest everyone does that and they won't be bothering any of us much longer.

got called from this number about 2pm today, on a Fri.  dirtbags left no message.  I, too, am on the do not call list.  when I called the number, the recording claimed it was a disconnected Verizon Wireless number.  it prolly is that some scum, scamming call center has programmed that number into their dialout system to replace their actual return number.  (if you get sinister or paranoid, it's even possible the number is correct and the recording is a 'bogus' recording the scammers have loaded into their answering system so that when an irate victim calls and hears it they hangup, thinking it is a dead end.)  if anybody had the forethought and patience, it might be worthwhile to see if this number calls again and find out who actually is calling.  report them to BOTH Verizon and the "do not call people".  then you can probably wait to be ignored....................

I just received a call from this number and when I dialed the number back from my work land-line, the message was the same as everyone else!

Just called me 20 mins ago. I called it back and it told me it was a Verizon wireless customer and that the number was no longer in service or had be changed??? Added it to the "Blocked" list

My dad has received calls from the same number.  He just asked me to call them back for him since he doesn't speak English.  So I was doing some research and found this site.  WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They're f****ng scam artist?  DO NOT mess up with our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They misrepresent that they are working with your Bank, Credit Card company ect.

They are NOT your Bank or Credit Card company, they are a scam that tricks you into applying for a high interest credit card with them. I believe they buy information from companies such as Chase bank who do not protect their customer's information.

When pressed for information they lied and said the were based out of Bolivia.

My Caller ID said Paris, Arkansas.When I pressed to explain that I was on the Do Not Call List they hung up mid sentence, but called back several hours later anyway.
