I got a call on my cell phone from this number and googled it and found it to be from A***OLE recovery,I mean Asset recovery,I do not have any debts that were sent to collections in over 15 years,so why these A***OLES would be calling an unlisted cell phone that is on the No call list,is beyond me.I called it back from my blocked land line and only got the voice mail for a Sarah Jackson,that I do not know.

This phone number called my mother as "Sarah Jackson" requesting to talk to me.  I haven't lived with my mother in 10 years.  The person would not tell her why they were calling except that it was "personal".  My mother called me right away because she thought it was odd and she told me not to answer the call if I got one.  As I was talking to my mother the same number attempted to call me.  I did not answer.  I then did an internet search of the phone number and found these reviews.  I came to the conclusion that I must have an unpaid medical bill based on the other reviews.  I called both of my doctors offices and my children's doctors offices.  All of the doctors offices said that we did not have any outstanding balances and we have never been turned over to a collections agency.  I have come to the conclusion that this is a SCAM ARTIST at work and I feel bad for anyone who falls for them.  DO NOT give your information to a so called "collections agency" and do not pay bills sent to you from any so called "collections agency".  Go directly to the sources of your bills and deal with them directly.  

Ruthless rude COLLECTIONS agency

geez people are you kidding me? I don't work for this company but when you open you receive a service you owe them money. You received a service that you didn't pay for so now they want to be paid for it I am sorry if they are rude I agree they should not be but quit bitching about having to pay your bills. I unfortunately have a huge hospital bill and they are contacting me also I hated it but I did in fact stay in the hospital and I do owe them money and it's my responsibility to pay. so don't get upset with them for having to do their job. If you paid your bills work out a payment plan with them and you wouldn't be getting phone calls from them.

Lucy Grahm called me and was polite and we worked out a payment plan. It's hard to do but gotta do it in america. gotta pay these horrible medical bills. this happened to be a gall bladder my wife had removed. extremely expensive, as is all medical in usa, but what to do? can't change the system unless we all band together. there is a better way. don't blame the asset collections. they were contacted by the medical establishment to collect on a debt. either anesthesia or medical procedure. i really think america needs to change their medical process and make it affordable for all Americans. otherwise we'll all go broke every time we have something in our lives that requires a hospital and doctors. really, we have to change!

I am getting calls from here. It turn out it is medical bills from a not at fault wreck from a 1 1/2 ago. I thought everything was taken care of. Then they called my neighbor to confirm my address (which they are allowed to do once). it was so embarrassing. Then they called my husband at his work. The thing is this bill needs to be paid by AAA the other drivers insurance. So I called them and got their voice mail. I left a detailed message about where the bill should have been sent and the contact name of the insurance person helping me. If they send the bill there it will be taken care of. I heard nothing for 3 days and thought it was cool. Now they are calling again. The frustrating part is if the physical therapist would have sent the bill to the right people in the first place I wouldn't be wasting my time with this.

That is surprising because I know exactly who it is and, with my friend, he was very forthcoming about his identity.  I got a call today and didn't recognize the number so I googled it and got here.  Then my friend called me and asked if the guy got ahold of me, he was actually calling me back.  Thus being enlightened, I decided to come back here and comment.  The caller would have been a representative of Asset Recovery, a collections agency.  But wait, don't run away screaming yet...  I am in my early thirties and as with most people, went through a phase of financial irresponsibility, so I have some experience with collections.  I think that this company is nicer, more flexible and more honest than any other collections agency I have run across before.  They identified to my friend that the debt was for a medical bill.  She informed them that as a paycheck to paycheck girl, she had very little to offer them and they were extrememly flexible on getting a small amount from her monthly and let her set the day of the month it would be due.  Also, the interest rate at the time was only 9% APR (way low, trust me!) AND it doesn't compound meaning you pay off the principal amount of the loan first and only start to pay off the interest that has accrued after the principal is gone.  And the interest never accrues it's own interest.  This (especially for a collections debt) is impressive and I told them as much when I talked to them.  My situation is unique, I do my friends finances for her so I got to talk to these people directly.  Honestly, I would take paying off a debt through them before a credit card company on account of the low and non-accruing interest.  And Ken was very professional and helpful.

This is not a false post even though reading back through it, it seems like one to me even.  Come on, who would speak nicely of a collections agency?  I wouldn't believe me...  But if you have the resources to throw just a little bit of money their way every month, do give him a call back because he WILL work with you.  Just be straight with your situation.  I can't promise the APR will be the same because we started several years ago.  But this month, ironically, is the last payment.  It was why I called him to begin with, to get the exact amount for the final check.

If I had anything ill to say about Asset Recovery, it's that their business hours are short.  I called before 5:00pm Friday and had to wait all weekend to talk to him because they closed at 4:30pm!  I was eager to polish off the bill so yeah, I was annoyed.  But I'm a strange case.  People tell me that anyway.

I lost my Husband a year ago to cancer I had to file banruptcy which included
all medical bills both his and mine It was finalized in November I told him
that and that he could speak to my lawyer he is still trying to collect and has
gone as far as contacting a fiend of mine to ask me to call him. He has violated
my rights under the banruptcy protection code he had no right to call my friend
I will be filing a complaint against him and ASSEST RECOVERY with the Atorney
General of my state.

Ken calls constantly and acts stupid like he one of our employees best friends.  He refuses to say that he is with a company, even when asked.  That is against the FDCPA.  They have to state they are with a collection agency when asked.  Someone should sue his butt off.  He keeps calling cell phones and texting them as well.  The only reason that they charge only 9% interest is that that is all that is allowed by state law, without a contract.  Stupidity will get him no where.

Collections company! Ruthless people calling everybody that knows me. I'm married and my husband had medical bills that went to collections.  They want me to pay them when my husband aren't together anymore. Something about being married so it affects me as well.

Today was the third time talking with ASSEST RECOVERY. Again the girl i spoke with was extremely condescending. Making the remark " well you must do pretty well in tips to afford your mortgage". That ended my patience for her nonsence. I was told each time that no payment plan would be worked out that they are not in the busy of financing my personal debt. I was told I could however make 3 equal payment to call back with my answer my 4p the following day, or further action would be taken against me. If you want results then use some tact and common decency.

I cannot say anything nice about this company. My guess is "MIRANDA" works for Asset because that is a load of BS you are trying to get us to believe.  They are nothing but inconsiderate A**es. I hope they get into the same predicament as most people and end up being garnished.
I hope the people working for this company end up in poverty just so they can get no help.  I know that sounds cold but that was the same way I was treated.
