Here's a link for the complaint form at the Oregon DOJ. I've used it about 4 times.
Scroll to the bottom of the form.

WELLS FARGO NOTICE: Your CARD has been DEACTlVATED. Please contact us at: 503-688-9425.
Can not find a Place at D.O.J. Oregon to report this SMS scam

Got the same message. Will report it. Thanks for the info.
If this helps...the + before the number is for international numbers. Looks like it's tracing to a Japanese number for the text message sender: +507-720-9309.

Please report all the numbers at http://www.doj.state.or.us/ if you can possibly find the time -- this stuff is traceable -- and just ignoring it means some poor family member might not know better and loose all of their money :-(

Text from 612-562-1706 says Wells Fargo card deactivated and to call 503-688-9425. Known phishing scam in Oregon, received alert from http://www.doj.state.or.us/ where I signed up to be advised of this kind of crap. On 800notes.com someone called the 503 number from a landline and gets a recording saying they are Wells Fargo and to enter the 16 digit card number. Beware!

Received a text message on my cell phone from 503 929-3160 with a message "WELLS FARGO BANK ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 503-688-9425."

Called the number from a land line and got a automated message for the Wells Fargo Card Activation line. Although the recorded message sounded broken and a little garbled. It wanted me to enter my "card 16digits number". Sounds real fishy!!! I don't have a Wells Fargo account.
