This number is used by Cox Communications when you are late paying your bill.  It is legit.

The people claiming on here that this is legit are probably the scammers. Beware.

This is a scam they are calling claiming that they are Cox Communications and that your account is in collections. They want your personal information.

I hung up on them and called the real Cox customer service number the two different accounts are both current. Why would collections be calling when both accounts are current.

This is a scam 100%.

I have missed four calls from this number, but they did not leave a message. They called again today and when I tried to answer, they hung up. This is very aggravating.

It's Cox Communications. They're calling to bug ppl about a bill or something. I just got a call from them too.
