I got the same call today form a moron named Glenn Fourmaux, 504-914-9947.  He said he was hired by Dennis Avalos, 619-564-4221 of California.
He asked if I got his notice in the mail.  I said I didn't. He acted surprised.
I told him he could commit a physically impossible act on himself.  He still persisted.
My guess is he's an overweight, under-educated, fat slob sitting in his tee shirt and underwear making these calls.  He may not be much better than "Dennis Avalos," who has to be somewhat smarter than "Fourmaux" because he has at least hired the moron to do his dirty work.

Our call center forwarded a message to me from a man who said his name is H.L. Hastings, an attorney for Tucker Albin. I returned the call, referencing case # 39838 as directed. He was on a speaker phone, said he's an attorney trying to get in touch with XXX, previous owner of the company, that a lawsuit is to be filed and he has a signed affidavit.  He was polite enough. I said I'd refer the call to the previous owner's attorney. The attorney asked me to get an email address or find a website to see if this was a legitimate call from Mr. Hastings. When I call Hastings back, he would not give me that information even though it seems very basic and any legitimate attorney would freely give out a way for someone to contact them besides the telephone number. He merely repeated the legal phrases "signed affidavit" and "lawsuit to be filed".  I'm dismissing this call and won't waste any time on it.

I have turned them into the state dept of justice and got a court order, they HAD to appear in a Idaho court, this was after I filed the complaint

Got a similar call from a glenn forunax and hl Hastings.  If they were a pi or a debt collector they would have a lot more information.  It's an obvious scam and you can contact your local district attorney' office, FBI, or the secret service as both of the latter have national jurisdiction.  They are using numbers of 520-760-6222 or 970-422-4222.  Any debt collector would at least state the vendor and invoice number for reference.

I know Glen. A retired capt from New Orleans Police Dept. He has had his PI detective agency for at least 20 or 30 years. Nice guy, but I guess he gets a better response from certain deadbeats by trying to intimidate. Of course he does not know who he is calling most of the time so he steps on a lot of toes with his approach.  He even left a message on my answer machine one day not knowing that it was me. Ha. (I had a relativie that used my address one time and now I sometimes get bill collectors calling my house.) I guess I should call Glen back and let him know that he barking up the wrong tree with me...but heck, it is nice to hear his sweet voice on my answer machine every now and then.  All I can say is that Glen is NOT a scammer and runs a legit PI business. What do you mean EX-COKE HEAD. I know that this company and several people that work there are under Surveillance by several law enforcement agencies from what I hear from the girl who gave the Police the names of the people that were selling drugs out of the office that they were already being watched because of complaints by other people that work in the same building.It appears from what I am told that most of the people that work there are druggies.

Along with Anthony Reed and the a** of them all Annie Hunt. these people also go by Marjel Properties which who Jacqueline is the head attack dog, these people all work together and they use the collection agency to scam people and businesses. This Dollison lady said my 90 year old grandmother owed Marjel 900.00 for past due rent and she has been in the same home for 75 years she tricked her into giving her bank info and took out 1900.00, then a few weeks later my mom pays 2000.00 to a car dealership in Morrow GA and she does not even drive! I have made several police reports and hired a private investigator to track these bastards down. I too currently have a lawsuit against c2c resources for taking over 2500 out of my mothers account as well. People lets band together and get these bastards off the streets!

These people are a legit collection company, I ignored there calls and had a Private Investagator at my business! I ignored that as well and I was served with papers for Orange County Civil court and now had to hire an attorney that was about double the amount of the money I owed the company that hired these people.  Just a suggestion but why not just pay the dam debt ?!?

These people are idiots.  They keep calling my work and harrased my receptionist.  The Fair Debt Collection Practice Act will protect everyone from these low lifes.  IF you get a call tell them not to contact you anymore per the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.  Inform them that if they call you again, you will seek to sue them under this act.  You can sue up to $1,000.  Look it up.  This law helps the debtor.  Let's get these guys in their place!

Glen Fourmaux is a absolute RUDE Jerk!  If this isn't a scam, then you people need to lear how to conduct professional business without being rude and untactful!!  First of all, Glen has called the office I work for and before he would even tell me his name or anything about himself, he was very RUDE and disrespectful!  I have not done anything to this man or the compnay he works for.  I am simply the receiptionist and he felt the need to be highly rude which is very unprofessional. If your comany is trying to collect debts from others you may want to take a nicer approach otherwise you will NOT get anywhere!! A EXTREMELY RUDE, man named Glenn Fourmaux called saying he was a civil investigator calling in reference to a financial investigation with our company for a man named Dennis Avalos and the company is Sanders & Douglas.  He would not specify the OUR company name and I did not volunteer any information.  He asked to speak with the “OWNER”  and wanted his name, but I found it kind of strange that he did have that information.  Before I would tell him anything I asked who he was and that’s when he became very rude.  He started talking very fast and when I asked him to slow down and repeat his name, he replies " YOU HEARD ME "  and kept being rude and demanding information from me.  He said the investigation would begin tomorrow if the “OWNER” had questions he could contact Dennis Avalos or himself at the numbers listed below, but the investigation would begin tomorrow on our company and then he hung up on me. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION! IF THEY WERE LEGITIMATE DEBT COLLECTOR THEY WOULD ALREADY HAVE YOUR INFORMATION FROM THE COMPANY YOU OWE MONEY TOO!!

I do not think that Glen works for C2C any longer. Just FYI: He is an independent investigator and was never an employee of C2C, he is probably working for other companies. If you are getting calls from him it is not about a case C2C is working on~ or me for that matter. :)'ing

Some people that work there try to handle thing correctly and according to the law, but management is a loose Canon who treat his employees like they are dogs for the all mighty doolarly have a large lawsuit filed against them thru residents of Alabama. Lets hope this class action suit puts them out of business. That what they deserve. I fell sorry for the people who are stilled employedd with them.

- have worked with C2C for a year now and they have consistantly impressed me with their professionalism and amount of money they recover for my company! By the time a private investigater calls, they have exhausted all other resources to contact the debtor and settle the matter. Don't buy things you can't pay for and you wouldn't have anything to complain about.

When will Kayleen post her picture on the C2C site? We would all like see who we have been talking to.

Well, basically if you are a business, and you pay your bills, you dont have to worry about getting a call from them. If your bills are paid, then your vendors will not send you to the collection agency. It's really pretty simple.

Yep, C2C is just another collection agency which will try to settle a claim without documentation. And try to put pressure on you in a few ways... giving themselves titles which sound official.. or discuss terms which are meant to sound like they can get your account infomation, credit, business associates.. blah blah blah.  

I asked them for proof in writing to support their claim and received something vague and non-supportive.  In addition, they sent another letter which requested I give them my bank account information so they can draft the amount owed.  Okay, I'll get right on that!

I have recorded all supporting documentation and emails from their company and our attorney said to just ignore them until we receive any court documents or something that actually supports their claim.  It appears to him an attempt to hustle someone with scare tactics.  It has been about 6-8 months now.. still waiting.

BTW, Kathleen.. you can send me your checking account information and I will simply wire the money to your account... ROFL!  Seriously, since you read these posts and actually respond... how low will you go?  I bet you actually posted some of the claims that say "we were sued"!!!

Got a call from this company I called the number they left with my 77 year old mother turns out it is a low life collection agency. I did not know the person they were looking for and was cursed out by this crazy man who sounded like he he was on drugs, I asked to speak to a manager he told me he owned the F(*&ing company when I asked his name he screamed Todd Tinkler. I just hung up and called my lawyer. I had taped recorded the conversation because my mother was so upset from when they called her. My lawyer said this is a collection company that buys old debt and he will file a formal complaint on my behalf. He advised me this company has a reputation for being abusive to people.
