I received a phone  call from an individual by the name of Richard who stated he was from College Advisor. I do not have caller ID on my home phone. The thing that upsets me the most is that the individual calls before 8 AM PST. He called at 0740 AM. I would like to see them put out of commission pernanently and fined very heavily.

whats up with this number 505-612-0112... when i call back it says the number has been disconnected??? How is that?? They just called.    Well they usually call 3-5 a day, and for the last 2 weeks... just dont understand how they got my number.. and are they dangerous????

Had 4 telephone calls this afternoon. Numbers displayed were 0112, 0104, 0118 and 0102 in that order and 3 to 4mins between each call. Spoke to an asian sounding woman who asked if I was the windows user of my computer. I replied with "why do you ask?" She replied "there could be a problem with it." I replied with "there's no problem with my computer." She then promptly hung up. Hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence.

Everyone who was solicited by this number needs to file a local police report.

It's a number used by online university solicitors.  University of Phoenix is probably behind this..

I get a call from 505-612-0112 all the time. Today I got three calls from this number and was scolded by my boss because my cell phone was disrupting other workers. They never leave a message, and when I try to call back, the message I get is "sorry, I cannot complete this call at this time". How can I get this call blocked from calling me ever again?

I've been getting calls that are just as you describe, too. For several days, now. Someone with the correct authority really needs to handle this appropriately before some crazed vigilante with General Anxiety Disorder does it for them.

Oh, and Mr. Steven Bastean, before you post it again, I *am* registered with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I reporting this number to the FBI. This number has to be some sort of scam. I'm going to to assume that most companies have had customer information stolen and this could be one of those people.

Yes - this IS a Facebook connection.  2 years ago I did a dumb thing and responded to an ad.  I included my phone number on facebook thinking I was going to get valid college information.  I just got a call from "college adviser" from the aforementioned phone number.  I've told them to take me off their database, stop calling me, etc. etc. but like dopes they keep calling me with the same line.

I get calls from crazy numbers all the time... like 109 or 204, 224, 1104, and they tell me that they are with college advisory and they are returning my call about information i requested online. But the thing is, I have not requested any information at all! and they have been calling me for about 2 years and I cant trace them for crap! I hope it gets better for you! and I too, am on the national do not call registery.

A female asked for MY CHILD's NAME.  I said he is a child and she hung up.  I checked Facebook and saw that his account had been accessed from somewhere in WY.  I don't know if this could be related but others have posted a possible connection to Facebook.

This number has called and called my home and never says anything.  It is very annoying and harrassing.  It calls during the week and the weekend.  I called my telephone company and I am tracking the day and time this number shows. I do plan to contact the law enforcement recommended by my telephone company.

Register on the "National Do NOT Call List" at www.donotcall.gov and then report them to the claims every time!  This time they didn't block there number and I am prior military police and a police consultant.  Then report them to your local police department.  Keep track of all calls and times plus Names of whom you talked to!
