I'm not sure who this is but it doesn't sound right, they called me and asked for another person's name, the best thing to do is call your phone company and put a block on the number, someone should investigate this co.

caller called in the morning on saturday - caller id said "citibank citico" - i was expecting some kind of fraud b/c we have business with citibank so i answered - a guy very politely asked if i could "help him" find someone that may be related to me - he knew my maiden name! (i've been married 10 years) it is very generic, so he may have just pulled it out of a hat - but it really bothers me!! I asked if he was joking me - i didn't know a scott ... and he said thanks.  very bothered by this - very!

I got a call from this number this morning, they didn't or wouldn't speak when I answered the call, I researched it and ended up here. I just got a call from a man that said he was with Citi Mastercard calling me at my work, he claims to be with the Citicard company and that my payment was not enough for the month to send more before they charge me interest and they raise my interest rates. This is a bunch of BS. I plan to callthem after work to clarify this, anyone else having this happen

Yes, they called me too.

I forgot to make my last bill payment so I'm guessing thats the reason.

I tried answering before but no one was there, just dead air so I'm guessing they have a problem with their phone system or something.

They called us...again. I talked to "Patrick" who asked for someone that has never worked at our company, although she was the wife of our former company president. I asked what it was regarding and he wouldn't even tell me the company name. I called the number back and asked them to remove me from the list and the lady said ok and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I said "How are you going to remove me from your list, you didn't even ask who I was!" She then said there was nothing she could do for me, so I told her our lawyers would be contacting them directly instead.

I received a call from this number a few weeks ago.  Called back and got a spiel about how they are calling their special customers yada yada yada. I have a checking, savings and checking plus account with them that I am in the process of closing (I imagine they've noticed I am paying off the checking plus account and keeping ridiculously low balances in the other two accounts).  I am closing the accounts because I received notification a few months ago that they are going to charge me 9.50 a month for my checking (i've since found out that the NY Attorney general is in negotiations with them to stop that - but I am pissed so I am going elsewhere).  They called again today.  "just a courtesy call".  I have no outstanding bills or past due balances - This is really annoying ...

This number calls frequently and is always a recording that shuts off immediately as soon as it realizes we've sent it to voicemail.

This is citibank, or at least some company contracted with them.  We have a credit card that we have on a payment plan to pay to close (meaning while we make payments, the card is inactive and will be closed once it's paid off) . they call trying to get us to re-activate the card ("For emergency purposes! you'll be able to use it right away!") and increase the limit. And every time we tell them NO and to STOP calling.

Funny thing is, when we call Citi directly, they claim to not know the number or why we are getting the calls.  We are planning on filing a complaint with coporate security, and go from there.

I have a Citi Flex Line of Credit and couldn't make the last two payments.  They've been calling me for weeks now, which is totally within their rights.  I haven't gotten a call from this number before but I'll add it to my contacts list.  I answer the phone periodically and talk to them about our financial situation and they are very polite but I tell them I won't be able to make a payment until my husband gets a job so there's no point in calling.  From what I understand of the debt collection laws, collectors are entitled to call your work ONE TIME, your friends or neighbors ONE TIME, and they can only verify your address, home phone number and where you work.  That may be why some people have gotten calls who don't have any Citi accounts--they're looking for information on someone else.

These people are jerks because they call me multiple times just about every day at work and at home and once on my cell.  I don't know why they keep calling because my account is closed and my account is not delinquent.  My payment is not due for another two weeks.  I will be glad to get them out of my life once and for all!!!  I have not spoken to them as of yet and don't plan on it either.  They called my house recently and the lady on the other end of the phone was very rude to my husband, so I'm glad to know that my situation is not isolated.  There ought to be laws against pesty companies such as Citibank Citico who like to hassle you every day.

The new President is the former President of Merril Lynch.  Yep, the man with the $1.5M office remodel.  Must be taking donations for the new place.  Glad he found a new job I was feeling pretty bad for him since he got $40M+ for tanking the company.  Glad he was able to land on his feet...

Douchewads are non-stop. I have multiple Citibank accounts, but not a loan, credit card or anything else that might remotely prompt such harassment.
